RE: Nixons, etc.
You're welcome. I forgot to tell you that you may copy any of the obits or documents for your own use, including your family tree on Ancestry. Did Rose Guion ever contact you about the Nixon photos she submitted on my Clay Co. page? She will have to give you permission to use those.

BTW, I have not yet linked the page to my Clay Co. site, but this page includes "hard copies" of the obituary clippings for John Bengree, Emma and Thomas Nixon. You may copy those, as well.

I don't know how far down the line you want to go with Emma's kids, but I also have marriage licenses for Florence and Bertha. They had a double wedding in Kansas City but came back to Clay Co. with their husbands. Florence and Fred Tilbury left soon afterward for Noonsack, Washington. Bertha and Fred Tranter hung around Clay Co. for a few years, and then moved to Eskridge, Kansas. Please email me privately if you want any of the articles I found for this family.

I have asked the owner of little Loyal's memorial to add his birthdate, and I am sure she will eventually, but it is Aug. 7, 1902 in Exeter Township, Clay Co., if you want it for your own records.

Nixons, etc.
I found Bertha Nixon Tranter's memorial on Findagrave--unfortunately she is linked to the wrong parents. I will try to get the person in charge of her memorial to correct it.

Bertha's little boy, Loyal Tranter, is buried in the same cemetery as his grandparents, Thomas and Emma Bengree Nixon, and his great-grandfather, John Bengree--Pleasant Ridge in Clay Co., Kansas. I just added his obit to his memorial, poor little guy. The obit says he was buried in "North Exeter" which is one of the other names for Pleasant Ridge--Ladysmith and Bethany are even more names for it.

Anyway, I thought you might want to add those names to your Family Tree virtual cemetery.

My dear Legsie...

Thank you so much for your many visits to Dottie Ann's memorial, and other of my family's memorials, and leaving beautiful tokens. They always give my spirit a boost when I see that you have taken the time to stop by and have left a gift of your presence. May you always know peace and enjoy many friendships.

Hugs and best wishes,

Help, please ....
Sharon -

First, my condolences on the loss of your beloved grandson. Such things are always so painful.

This is a rather strange request ---- I have ancestors buried in the "Wolston burying ground near Coventry, Warwickshire". John Everton died Sept 2. 1797 and his wife, Mary, died Jan 2, 1797. There is a single stone for the two of them. My problem is that I cannot identify this cemetery on the internet or on Find A Grave. Since it appears that you live in the area, could you tell me which cemetery this really is?

Any help, or suggestion for further search would be greatly appreciated.
