Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am in telecommunications and have been working for Electronic Data Systems since 1985. EDS became HP in 2008. However, laid off after 30 years in July of 2015, I found a job after five weeks in the IT Department of the Dallas County Community College District. In my free time, I am a drummer, singer, photographer, coin collector, and like to travel. I have my Ridenour genealogy traced back to my 9th great grandparents and I am the test subject for the Ridenour DNA Project.

Hey Paul, for the stuff you added, you left out some little bits. At the end of the second paragraph, the parentheses should read exactly as follows: (Told by Elizabeth Teass, Bedford, VA.)

You left out

Thanks again,
Patrick Quinn

RE: Rebecca Chambers
Paul, Found a lot on her Rebecca Jane (Janie) Lee (Lea) Chambers. She just might be located at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville, TN under Janie Chambers. I found a death certificate for her born on 22 May 1831 and died 5 Jul 1910 at the Knoxville General Hospital. Those year dates match yours. The parents don't match, but that info was added after the death certificate was filled out and I could not establish a relationship with those names to her. I also have Isaac's hospital record from Mountain Home and his death. Send me a note to my e-mail, if you'd like a copy of each of these. Allen

Thanks Paul. I agree with your comments on George's parents. Unfortunately many people are no longer reaching multiple sources for their documentation. They just copy data and perpetuate the errors. Thanks cousin.

Dear Paul,

Not sure if we're related directly, but my 3rd great grandmother was Catharine Ridenour, born 7 Aug 1790 in Washington, MD. In 1811, she married Daniel Fearnow in Berkeley Springs, WV (town was named Bath, Virginia at the time). She died Nov 10, 1861, same place. Her parents were Johannes Jacob Reitenauer (1750-1810) and Elizabeth Zeller (1749-1833). I'd sure like to hear from you even if we can't find a direct connection.

Ridenour Family
Hi Paul,

David B Ridenour, Sr is married to my 5th great aunt, Margaret Ridenour.

I was born in Rouzerville, PA and lived in Hagerstown, MD area until I was out of school. I still have family in Hagerstown so we go there a few times a year to visit.

Tomorrow, we are planning on visiting the Osage Cemetery.

Thanks for all your research.
