|dlkap||Joseph Dettlaff of Putzig, Prussia|
I've tried to contact you via email but can't get a response so I'm using the public message here.
I'm interested in knowing how you found that this Joseph "Dettlaff" (my paternal grandfather)was born in the town of Putzig as his death certificate indicates "Detroit, Mich". Can't find any other birth record. Can you please clarify as to where/how you got this info? tks. Linda Detloff Kaplinski

I see you have added the information of Joseph Haskes parents, Jacob and Veronica, and his birth city. How did you come by this information?

You added a "BIO" to this Jacob's page.
I have just recently broke down a brick wall, and found Jacob and his family on the other side.
Jacob is the brother to my Great Great Grand father Joseph Bolda.
My question is;
where did you get the information regarding his parents?
ANY info you can share will be so very much appreciated.
Robin Bolda Wilson
Thank you so much for the Memorials

Please check the picture I added to your Find A Grave Memorial# 7672619. Of course I don't speak Polish, but I think I have the correct headstone to go with your memorial.

Think you. I had a brother in that war. He had also served in WWII and signed up in the reserves afterwards and had to go back after the Korean war broke out. He was able to go though both without muct action. We were lucky.

Find-a-grave was honering your "Ralph Fisher". I was just wondering, "although it doesn't mater" what war he was in that is if he had to go to was? Just serving is all that maters.
Forgot to mention, I've also seen the name Bolda in Mt. Olivet. Same offer.

Hi Jeff -
I came to your page to try to find more info to help me find John Groth in Olivet cemetery for you. I saw the messages other people posted on your page. Funny - I came across a plot of Warras family members just yesterday in the same cemetery. I was looking for someone named August Ritter for another member, and they're in the same plot. The names are:
John L Warras(1911-1971)
Romona M Warras(1913-2008)
Jerome J Warras
Then one stone with both the following names:
Helen Warras(Apr 3,1914-Jul 17,1914)
Theresa Warras(Apr 3,1914-Sep 2,1914)
The ?'s are where the numbers are unreadable because of ground cover. I just happened to take a video to help me figure out the layout of the plot. If these are your relatives and you want pics, let me know.
Are you researching this family? I'm doing a genealogy for a friend and have stumbled upon the Czapp's. I'm wondering if you have any info on them. I have some, but I'd like to compare notes. Please contact me via email. Thank you!
