I have become a great proponent of Find-A-Grave. It is a tremendous tool for locating relatives that you cannot find by other means. That is why I feel it is so important to link your family members. I have been doing genealogy research, on and off, for a little over twelve years.|
If you have changes or would like to add links, feel free to contact me by clicking edit at the top of a memorial and then click suggest a change to send me a message.
If I happen to have a family member, I will be glad to transfer management to you.
If I can be of help to you or if you have any comments or suggestions; please do not hesitate to contact me.
You have my permission to use Find A Grave photographs that I have posted for any legitimate purpose in your genealogical histories, publications or websites. Where possible, please give me credit.

I go to Newton county cemeteries about twice a year. Will probably be going back in the fall. I have been to Pinckney Cemetery in the past and will try to get by there.

The memorial is large at this cemetery on both sides, I have tried to make a pic but it did not turn out so I could copy, I think what needs to be done is all those names need to be added to site with no pic. Thanks

If you find out they have engraved his marker, let me know and I'll get a new picture. You might also add the plot is in Section 23.

|William Price||RE: Frank Shields|
Hi Reed I have about four Frank Shields members in my family line. The only one that is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Jackson, Hinds, MS., is Frank Leroy "Pete" Shields On findagrave memorial # 46658401 it indicates his death Jackson, Hinds, MS. If you can't find under Frank you might try his nickname Pete. Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to try and find his grave.
