Dear Ancestor

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Hello again,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
John Phillip Perrell # 27458498

I have successfully connected them with their parents. John being an only siblings to link them to. Gertrude has 2 sisters I need to find. I am now looking for their daughter.

Mamie Smith -- Pauley Cemetery
Per your photo request for Mamie Smith in Pauley Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, Arkansas:
My sister & I just finished walking the cemetery, and compared records with a couple who had plotted it a few years ago. None of us found a tombstone for Mamie. If she ever had on it either now missing (several have been destroyed in storms)or is no longer readable. The acid rains have destroyed many older stones in the area.
I had sure hoped to be able to find it, photograph, and add it for you.
