I am retired in Boise, Idaho. I have loved spending time in cemeteries since I was a little girl. Helping people by exploring cemeteries and photographing grave markers for them is a dream retirement activity for me.|
I walk the rows taking random photos when I am in a cemetery, and add the photos or the entire memorial to Findagrave if they are not in. I particularly concentrate on veterans (and their spouses), infants and children. I feel the veterans have earned the right to go to the front of the line. And I feel that since the babies and the children got so little on earth, at least I can give them some electronic "life".
I am always happy to add any information to a memorial I manage. Just send it. I am also delighted to add obituaries; just make sure that I have the correct attribution to add so the paper's copyright is respected.
If you find any errors of fact, date, relationship, or spelling on any of my memorials, please let me know. As a former professional proofreader, I KNOW that no one is perfect all the time, including me. I will fix it.
I will transfer management of memorials in line with the Findagrave guidelines, which specify relatives in a direct line. Specifically, they say: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred." Please do not ask.

Thank you, once again, for helping me. My uncles all served in WW II, and their grave inscription information is now part of my family history.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of the marker for my uncle, John T. Richardson. This helps to complete my family genealogy records. I appreciate your time, efforts, and good photography on my behalf.

Thank you for maintaining the memorial for Grace Celia (Hall) Wimer (#61953205). Grace was a 1st cousin of my grandfather. I have added a photo of Grace to the memorial. I found the photo in a letter that she wrote to my grandfather when he was in the Army and stationed in the Philippines during the Spanish-American War. Grace was about 13 years old when she wrote the letter on January 27, 1899, from Boise Valley, Idaho.

Sue, Did a lot of checking and their marriage certificate (Idaho) and almost all references in Ancestry and as shown on the headstone show the spelling above. The death certificate seems to be in error. Also, her husband was Ira Allen Crill

Thank you so much for taking the time to obtain this photo and posting it. And adding the additional photos and information.
Sue Ann...Thank you for the lovely photos for the memorial of our friend's husband, George Casey.
I appreciate your doing this when I am unable. Marie Casey's friends were interested in her family and George. They thank you as well.
