Bio and Links
Bio Photo *I ask that you do not copy any of my photos WITHOUT MY CONSENT or WITHOUT GIVING ME PROPER CREDIT. Too many times my photos have been "lifted" from either at F.A.G. or at Ancestry.com where they have been reposted to a foreign website and in order to view them, one must pay a fee. Additionally, I have come across many of my photos on other genealogy websites with no mention of a credit.

While I will let most people copy a photo if it is to be used for genealogy purposes, I strictly prohibit people using any of my photos for monetary gain. All I ask is that you give me credit for any photos you would like to copy.

Regarding transfers of memorials - I will be happy to transfer a memorial if the person is not related to me or an ancestor of mine. Transfers should be within the F.A.G. guidelines, i.e., NO BULK SURNAME REQUESTS and only for direct relatives within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren).

As per F.A.G. guidelines, transfers for non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) are not required to be transferred.

With that being said, I have to say that I inherited my interest in "root-digging" from my Dad, who has always been fascinated with history and genealogy.

I like the connection it gives me to the past and it lets me leave something behind for future generations.

While I strive to be as accurate as possible, sometimes human error can occur. If there are any corrections to be made, don't hesitate to let me know.

Thank you.

Emma Opfer Clausing
According to her husband Arthur Clausing newspaper article (The Daily Herald Fri May 22 1936)about his death, Emma's maiden name is Schoenbeck and died on Dec 5 1918. It also has surviving father-in-law & mother-in-law Mr & Mrs Henry Opfer of St. Paul. Did Artur marry two Emma's?

The Clausing our on my Fathers side and the Schoenbeck are my mothers side. Can you or someone help me out?

Thank you,

Hi,
I wanted to let you know that on Sunday June 29th, St John UCC will be hosting Pioneer Day on church grounds from 9:30 to 4:00 including cemetery walks. I'm trying to get as many people with ties to the cemetery to attend. Were are digging deeper into the history of all the graves and need help from those tied to it. I can send you a pdf of the event info if you'd like.
thanks

Evergreen Cemetery = Don Ellison
Hello Wendy,
Do you know where in Evergreen Cemetery is the location of Don Ellison's grave? In visiting the cemetery, it was shared that Don Ellison was not buried there. We think this information is inaccurate. Can you help?
Thank you.
Robin
