I have enjoyed genealogy as a hobby (my family says addiction) for over 30 years. Apparently I inherited this interest from both sides of my family. My paternal great-grandmother was left motherless at age 18 months and raised by a foster family. After she married, she was committed to learning all she could about her birth family, passing this interest to her daughter and granddaughters. I was very fortunate to have access to their records to build on when I began my own research. My maternal grandmother was a source of inspiration and encouragement until her death at age 92. Her correspondence with family members provided me with many clues to help research our family.
I photographed all of Goodrich Cemetery in Linn County, KS, and parts of other local cemeteries, but most of the memorials I've posted are for family members. If you copy a personal family photo that I've posted, please give credit. This gives other researchers a reference if they have questions. If you have additional info or are related, I would love to hear from you. Thank you to all who have taken the time to add flowers and photos.

Life is 10% what happens and 90% how you respond.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Would you want me to transfer management of the memorials for Mary KELLS Reinhardt and her spouse Anthony REINHARDT to you? Their headstone was in the row behind Andrew KELLS, directly behind the Andrew and Nellie CAMPBELL Kells stone. I created the memorial based on the photo I took yesterday and would be willing to transfer it to you if you would have interest. Please let me know if you'd like it transferred. Thanks.

Easy to do - took me a minute to figure it out!
Thanks for all you do for Find-a-Grave!

Nope; you are probably correct. That is just the date that was on the stone. Will see if I can do anything about it later. Just got to work. Becky
