I'm twenty-years-old and live in Ohio.|
I've been interested in genealogy since I was a young kid. According to my mom, whenever they would get the newspaper, the only thing I wanted to read was the obituaries!
Currently I am focusing on photographing Bloom Chapel & Weaver Cemeteries (Bairdstown, Ohio).
If anyone I've added is related to you, but not me, I'll gladly transfer their memorials to you if you ask. I find it to be so rewarding getting a message from someone asking me if I will do a transfer as they are related to someone I added. Being able to say I've helped someone find their loved one--as I added them on here, is why I do what I do.
If you would like to use any of the photographs that I have added on FindAGrave, please ask for permission before taking and using on other websites. Thank you!.
When I first joined FAG almost six years ago it was to find distant relatives--and I succeeded and in the process added many other relatives. That is why I take pictures of cemeteries & post the information on the graves, in hopes that one of the deceased's family members finds the memorial and wants to manage & add to it.
Listed below are the families that I research and the areas that they are from. Below that, I have listed my deceased grandparents. Feel free to leave a flower. Thanks!

What a great hobby you have! Thank you for the terrific grave photo and accurate info about William and Sadie Wickard. Before I read your request about asking for permission, I posted your photo under William's profile on my family tree. So, belatedly, I am now requesting permission. William is my great uncle. He is the son of David Wickard, who was born in 1819 and died in 1862 as a Union Soldier. He married for a second time in 1860 when William was only three. I am trying to find the name of William's mother. She evidently died shortly after William's birth. As well, I'm not sure who actually raised William. His stepmother, Adah, gave birth to my grandfather, John Lincoln Wickard, in 1862, and he never saw his father. Adah married again, but I have seen no evidence that William ever lived with her. I met Great Uncle Will and Aunt Sadie once as a little boy on the streets of Bowling Green while shopping with my mother, Maude Wickard Hissong. We lived in Rudolph, and I probably played baseball (Liberty High) against your relatives from Portage and North Baltimore.

I saw your posting for Amanda Page on F-A-Grave. Do you have a connection to the Page family??? The Amanda I'm searching for abandoned her children after her husband John Page died in 1863 in Van-Wert Co. Oh. Amanda's death date could be about right. Any help greatly appreciated.
|B. Darling||RE: Lodema Baird|
Sorry to say I am not able to find any document that contains her exact date nor cause of death. That in itself is strange as Wood Co., Ohio usually has that information on line. I'm not giving up the search but it may be some time before I can find it. If in any of your searching around you do happen to see anything, I would truly appreciate you passing it along. Again, I thank you for the transfer and being one of the "good guys" here on find-a-grave! Ben :)

I want to thank you for the transfer of Lodema's memorial. One of the goals I try to meet is to find all of these little ones who passed in the family and get them updated and linked with their parents. I truly appreciate the work you're doing on find-a-grave and being open to transfers. Thanks again... Ben
