Miriam has been instructing and lecturing since 2005 to various groups in the Inland Northwest. She has been interested in her family history since she was a young girl, living in Southeast Alaska, far from her extended family in Western Michigan. In 1987, she began her genealogy research.|
Ten years later, she was successful in reuniting her paternal grandmother--an adoptee--with her biological family. Miriam writes an award-winning genealogy blog, Online Historical Directories and Online Historical Newspapers websites. When not chasing dead people, she crochets, gardens, and bicycles.
If you would like Miriam to make a presentation to your group or would like to see her list of topics, please message her at this profile.

|Diana Frick-Simons||Henry Frick|
Was wondering if you are related to Henry Frick buried in Ortonville, MI?
Henry is the son of my 3 s Great Grandfather John H Frick b 1801 to 1885...
John's wife Marius York is my step great grandmother..
I didn't realize you had added Henry and Marium in 2005, as I had added Henry in 2009..
It is so awesome that you live in Alaska...

The marker I pictured is the old marker. There has to be another one there that was probably hidden under
brush..I will check the next warm day to see for sure.
I am also working to get the sexton to clean up the cemetery. Brush needs trimming.

I would like permission to include the biography of your great grandmother onto my ancestry.com page. It is a private tree that I'm not sure if I want to open to the public or not. What would you suggest? It isn't my family, but that of my grandson's. None of his family are even aware of the information I have put together for him. They have no interest. If I can't use the entire bio, my I use the pictures and some of the dates included? Thank you for the consideration.
|Observer4wing||RE: Stephen Cummings #15022675|
Hi Miriam, I just sent on the other information because it included different information concerning his life. Thank you for your consideration though!
|Barbara Stein||RE: Irvin Moore Anderson #13064736|
Thank you for contacting me regarding Irvin Moore Anderson. I no longer have the obituary here. I work with the obits at our genealogy society and bring home the duplicates and make sure that they are on findagrave and then return them. The information that I sent to you came from the obituary.
|Sandy Vandertol||RE: Van Til Family|
I don't even recall which of the Van Tils you are talking about at this point. Want to refresh my memory?
