Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you

...no one will ever know.

A LIMB HAS FALLEN

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

May I add a death certificate to a person's memorial page?

Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. Please select the option for "Other" in the "Type of photo:" to be added, as it is not a Grave, Person or Family photograph. NOTE: Death certificates do not necessarily contain completely accurate information about the deceased. There are often errors regarding the final burial location (as well as other data).

It really bothers me that some people go out and take all these pictures and put info on find a grave without any info as the person does not even belong to them and then they wont transfer as they say you are not a direct line , well I am one that if that person is not related to me I am more than willing for anyone to have it to put information on so others can find it.. So keep that in mind if you ask for a transfer be willing to transfer back and not always follow the guidelines that you have to be DIRECT relative. Sometime there is no one left to put the information on find a grave...

Remember TRUE genealogists help one another.. Good Hunting.....

Thank you so much for recently adding entries for my great-great-grandparents, Patrick & Elizabeth Dunn. I just discovered them here, and I've submitted a photo request for each. I'll add some biographic info to their profiles as I can.

Thanks so much for looking into this. This is my great aunt and the maiden name is Lang, though on the certificate it could be anything. Glad you had this information. Thanks again.

RE: William J McDonough
Coleman, thank you. In a few days I will see if this memorial comes up in a Find A Grave search via ancestry.com. If not, would you mind if I recreated this memorial? The other's you've created for my relatives are searchable so I don't think it's me.

I have a question for you. Calvary Cemetery is not very cooperative in helping family with genealogy searches -- at least by phone. I have 3 memorials you've created of my relatives (great grandparents) and it's clear they are in Section 13 Lot 77B Graves 3, 4 and 8. I'd really like to know who is in 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and any others after 8 (I doubt there are more but not sure). The last names are McDonough (Grave 3) and McCarthy (Grave 4 &*). Calvary's online burial search function won't let you search just the last name. Do you have a suggestion for me on how to find this info short of coming to Cleveland? Like I said the cemetery will not give this answer and I've tried calling on more than one occasion in hopes the sentiment will change :) Thank you, so much, Mary.

Thank you for the photo that you added. If you would like to add the obit that would be great. If you would like me to transfer the posting, I would be happy to do that. He is married to a woman that ties into my Boucher line. No direct link to me.

Mary Tang Soukup
Hi,
I just saw your addition of Mary Tang Soukup.
I have a family member with a very similar name; Mary Lang Soukup and a birth date of Nov 14, 1887.
Also have her mother as Marie Zeithaml. Maybe I have some incorrect information and would love to see any documtnation on her, if you can share. Many thanks, C. Bloomquist

RE: Soldiers and Sailors
When you meant that you can't find anything on them that could mean several things. For what are you specifically looking? That information will help me lead you to the specific source(s) in which you will need to look.
