Bio Photo I am TOTALLY addicted to FIND A GRAVE! I try to research every person I enter, to the best of my ability. Any info, questions or a goof up on my part, drop me a line. Would love to hear from anyone!!! Be kind, I'm only human.

Please don't be nasty and "demand" a memorial transfer. Ask politely or you will be ignored.

Major Curtis (1786-1861)
Major Curtis, buried in the Smith-Griswold Cemetery in Hartland Twp., MI (1786-1861) is my 4th. gt. grandfather. I am trying to find out more about him. His flag holder on his grave looks like he might have been in the War of 1812. I'm looking for his parents. I need to know more about his wife, Ana B. Curtis (Sturgus sp.) also. Please contact me if you have any more information about these two. My e-mail is: karensleva@yahoo.com. Thanks!

RE: Mary Birdsall
Hey Rosalie,
I just remembered, I saw an Albert Birdsall in Brady Hill Cemetery on Sunday. Could he be Mary's spouse?
Thanks for being such a 'good sport' about all of my corrections. I really appreciate all that you do! Thank you!

Jack L. Lamb Sr. 1927-2013
Is Jack L. Lamb's dad, Roy Myron Lamb have a dad by the name of Lester Lamb born 1862 and passed away 1930 in Saginaw,MI and a Mom by the Name of Fannie (Greene) Lamb- she was born 1864 and passed away 1938 in Saginaw,MI because I never heard of the mom mentioned in the obit named Cleo (Mellon) Lamb.
The obituary is on the Find A Grave Memorial# 109026941. I was wondering because if Roy Myron Lamb did marry Cleoo then the children would be my 3rd cousin, twice removed. I'm related through Fannie's Mom, Victoria (Baylis) Greene- my 5th great aunt and her husband's name is Myron Greene.

RE: Charles Pomerville
Some people have Pomaville, Pomerville and Pominville. I have dealt with them several times. They are not putting the correct last name with the children. Urban is a Pomaville. There is a question on Isabell Fortean Pomerville maiden name. I have found her maiden name spelled a few different ways. She needs to be VERIFIED!. What we need is obits or documents of the burial site on her death. I do know Pominville line is putting Pominville on everyone.

I am on the Pomerville side and been trying to fix this problem, for a very long time. So, I am trying to find the right last name to the children. I loved the grave, because it proves what I have been telling these people I have worked with and there is a huge mistake here.

The census during this time is all messed up. Last name spelled many different ways. This area and the next is off, because the line comes from Canada. Otherwise, French spelling to English. Plus, bad Census and records along the way. Right now I am working with a person on bringing the Pomerville's pictures of the graves. I am adding info on graves that I have and their getting the photo's of the graves.
The Pomervile line goes down to Wayne and Monroe counties mainly. Then over to Ontario and Quebec.
The problem I have been having is getting information from Arenac and downstate. People are getting more involved and taking photo's of graves, which helps. Obits would be a great help too.
