Thank you for the headstone photos from Calvary Cemetery in Saginaw!
|sandi lewis - malburg||Sorry|
Thanks for the transfer of Aunt Minerva 65933795. I have updated her memorial.
|sandi lewis - malburg||Leonard and Ina Johnson|
Thank you so much for the transfer of my cousin Ina and her husband Leonard.
By the way, I found that you hold the memorial for Ina's mother, my Aunt Minerva 65933795. Would you please transfer her to me.
Do you know the cemetery well enough to know if she is buried beside her 3rd husband, John Fred Johnson 36203803 or is she buried near Ina and Leonard. Anyways, now I can start making the connections.
It is odd, I love the photo you have of her, my sister is her spitting image - not our mother, but Aunt Minerva. (and I look like them both.)
Strange if not creepy to see your face on a cemetery memorial page.

Thank you for posting the picture of the headstone of Joseph Shaltry. I was able to visit Calvary Cemetery last week (I live in California). The cemetery indicates that several other Shaltry's are buried there, however I could not find their headstones. I suspect that the headstones are completely covered with grass and they should be next to Joseph's. There is a large gap on both sides of Joseph's headstone. Have you ever seen the headstones of the other Shaltry's at Calvary Cemetery.

By goodness time flies, so I am belated in thanking you for your reply. I was so surprised to stumble across Bridget and the spelling of her maiden name, the seekingmichigan didn't cross my mind. So thanks for reminding me. I found her DC. Did you print a copy? And if so, were you able to print a readable copy?
Also, if I provide documentation that her maiden name was spelled "Carey" would you post it to the Memorial? Knowing that her parents were John Carey and Nora Burk as I already had some of her family from the Bedford Twp, Frontenac Co., Ontario census and from the records of St. Edward Church, Westport, Leeds Co. I can know connect her to two of her sisters.
Thanks again for creating this Memorial and the DC info!
Glad to hear that spring is finally showing up in MI.

|Thomas Ladner||Re: Bessie (Hickey) Bird|
I'm not sure now...
Though, am Confident. She most likely is buried in Roselawn not Forest Lawn like the Saginaw Online Obituary Index indicates. I've walk nearly now most of all the Headstones in Roselawn. Just wished I had a Snapshot uploaded of it.
I'll delete mine... though
|Dana Dancy||Michigan Death Records|
Hi! Just passing the word - www.seekingmichigan.org recently released more death records 1921 - 1940's. Originals can be viewed up to 1939 and they are working on the 1940's in Index form. Each year more originals will be released - 1940 will be able to view the originals in the year 2016, 1941 in 2017, etc.
