Cadmus is the combined efforts of the Stone family in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Our hopes are that our listings will help others to find family and friends no matter how distant. |
We feel this site can be a great aid in copping with grief after the loss of a loved one. The majority of the memorials we have added are of people unknown to us. These were added with the greatest respect.
Researching our family history/genealogy and playing with our pugs and chickens has become an enjoyable pastime for us.
If you would like to contribute information to someone's biography or if we have made a mistake in our information to any of the interments we have listed, please don't hesitate in contacting us. If you would like a transfer of a memorial of someone that is not related to us, please be nice there is no need to be rude or unfriendly.
If you are adding memorials to Find A Grave please add all the information you can to the listings, remember this is a tribute in memory to someones life not just another number on your way to being a top contributor.
We would like to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for blessing us with the ability to help those who have gone before us because we know that we only live as long as we are remembered.
Thank you to everyone who has left flowers, tokens and kind words for our loved ones. If you have time we would appreciate your visiting these memorials that are In need of Flowers.

|Careing||Thanks for all you do!|
Thanks be to God for all of your work, I recently lost my sister to cancer and just saw a memorial letter you put on here to someone(Some things I'd like to say, but first of all to let you know that I arrived ok, etc) that was one of the most beautiful notes I have ever read,and I certainly will pass it along to my heartbroken niece, I am sure it will help her, It did me, God Bless all of you and keep up the great work.

|Jennie McQueen||Ted Denton in Science Hill Cemetery|
Just wanted to let you know that Ted is the son of Charlie and Sophronia Denton in the same cemetery. Thought you might want to do a family link. Thanks for all the work you do/have done with Findagrave.

|Ronda Johnson||Eva L. Hines Freedom Cemeter|
Hello, I see an error made on Eva Hines obit, I may have asked to remove a name but her son was accidently removed also. His name is Doug Hines. He is still alive. Thanks for the correction. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.
|William Mattingly||RE: Catfish,|
Woodson is only a 7th cousin to me but I had been looking for information on him and his family when I stumbled across your memorial and to be honest, I'm just happy he has one. I tried to reach the Somerset City Cemetery today to find out if he is buried there but no luck yet. If I discover his burial location I'll certainly let you know. Again, thank you for creating the memorial.
|Marsha Toles-Smither||Carl Terrell Sr.|
Thank you for creating this Memorial. I actually have know this family for most of my life. His mother was like a grandmother to me. I am currently working on some of the other Terrell family. I would very much appreciate the transfer if you are willing to transfer it. I do not know much about his wife, but will be working on it as well. My number is 47365035. Thank you so much for all you have done for Find A Grave...GOD BLESS!

|Ronda Johnson||RE: Elmer,|
He died in Norma Tenn around early 1920's. The family story is he worked for the lumber mill in Norma and he was robbing a train when he was shot. He was alive when taken home, my great aunt remembered him being carried in the house. She was a small child and was told her daddy died from pneumonia. This is what was told for years. I was given a tape recently after the death of my aunt and it had my grandmother talking about Elmer while visiting the grave of his son Essie in Hatfield Cemetery in Norma Tenn. Grandma stated Elmer was buried beside Essie when he died. I have been to Hatfield Cemetery to place a marker and flowers on Essies grave. I have ordered a headstone for him as there is nothing there besides a rock in the ground. Any help would be so appreciated. I want to find Elmer, I feel the need to finalize it for Elmer and my grandpa. Grandpa knew the truth, according to my grandma and I know he loved his daddy and I know he is helping me to complete this for them and he is smiling down on me. Thanks
