**My email address has changed!**|
I have been in the curious position of being an American in Australia since 1989. I have a great love for both countries. My accent is a weird mixture of both. I remain a Yank in Oz and an Aussie in the US. At least it's a great conversation starter!
I am married to an interesting and hard-working man, and we have two gorgeous young adult children.
My vocation is education, teaching English to adult migrants and refugees. I get tremendous satisfaction from my work.
My passion is genealogy. I have been researching since 1983, a time when I had to duck secretively into the National Archives in case any of my friends saw me. The stories that I have uncovered, although not all happy ones, have inspired me and made me proud to be connected to the people who have come before me.
I am thrilled to have discovered Find a Grave, as it allows me to memorialise my loved ones and document the lives of other family members for posterity.
I am a strong believer that ordinary people live extraordinary lives. They are far more interesting to me than celebrities.
I have been very moved by the many stories that I have read on here. I enjoy reading a well-written and loving biography, and I admire people for being such a positive influence on those left behind.
Please take the time to check out a few of my loved ones, and flower them if their tales strike a chord. I will try to reciprocate.
I would love to make contact with any relatives of the individuals I have posted here, and I would be more than happy to transfer memorial administration to family members or friends. Please email me to facilitate this.

|Mary Beth||Joseph & Mary Martin|
Hello Mary Jo.
I was hoping you would be willing to transfer 2 relatives memorials. Joseph Martin and his wife Mary Martin.
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that there is a Goss family buried in Gilead Hill Cemetery, Hebron, not far away from Glastonbury. Not all the graves in the plot are marked (in particular John Goss, who has never been found to photograph). If you want I can check for you and see if Charlotte is among the marked graves.

|Anne Philbrick||Caroline Schultz|
Hi, Mary Jo. I just wanted to let you know that the census you mentioned in Caroline's bio is for a different Caroline Schultz. This Caroline's husband was Henry Schultz, although I have not as yet found his death information. Thank you.
|D. Singleton Shell||Hello|
Thought I'd say hi and thank you again for all your work in Wayne Co. KY. It meant so much. I've still not visited all the family graves, but the two I did, with help from a previously unknown cousin, were very thrilling. My late husband even got interested in taking a photo of g.g.g.grandfather Abraham Flinn's stone! :) Darla
Hi Mary Jo. I would be happy to take over on Martha Brown, she is my husband's 8th great grandmother. Sure sounds like you live a very interesting life.
