Bio and Links
Bio Photo I would like to thank all of the volunteers who take the time to enter the SACs and information I send to them. I do research the information with Census, birth/marriage/death records and obituaries before I submit the request.

In response to an email I sent to a librarian at the Brooklyn Collection of the Brooklyn Public Library, I was told it is okay to retype an obituary or a death notice, in whole or in part, from the collection at the BDE and post it to FindAGrave memorials. The newspaper should be cited as the source. It is an orphan publication since the publisher is no longer in business so there is no copyright infringement.

Please visit Marcy Border's memorial, a 9-11 survivor who recently succumbed to stomach cancer and Cassandra Ann Morton's memorial, a murder victim who's case is still unsolved.

Please DO NOT POST DUPLICATE HEADSTONE PHOTOS ON ANY MEMORIALS I CREATE OR MANAGE. There is no reason to have two (or more) headstone photos. If the memorial is un-sponsored there is limited space. If your photo shows more detail than mine, please contact me via email to discuss it.

I will transfer memorials unless it's my direct ancestor or I'm more closely related than the requester. My goal is to reunite memorials I have created to family members. You can send the request via the suggest any other correction link under the edits tab.

You are welcome to use any photos that I have taken and posted on FindAGrave for personal use and/or not-for-profit genealogical Web sites. Please reference Find A Grave and the memorial number that you copied the photo from.

Question for you. Jane (Wellwood) Foster was my 3rd great grandmother. She was buried with her son, Joseph Wellwood Foster and his family. I am about to go to the National Archives in NYC on September 17th to look at the original naturalization paperwork for Joseph, but on the index card it lists the witness as Robert Wellwood, I believe YOUR Robert Wellwood. do you have any idea if my Jane (Wellwood) Foster - born 20 Feb 1826 in Ireland - is your Robert's sister? I know nothing about her family other than she also had a sister named Mary Ann (Wellwood) Bishop. My other guess is maybe cousins? Thanks for your input. The only additional info I think could help you is Jane's husband was John Foster and he died by 1857.

CALEB PUTNAM 1766-1819
I have New York census records from 1800 and 1810 that were transcribed and submitted by Bill Putnam stating that Caleb Putnam married Elizabeth Rynex in Rome, Oneida, NY on May 31, 1794. However, I can find no record of their marriage on nor

Old Buck Creek Cemetery
Have you found Mark and Rachel Howard? I cannot find the Old Buck Creek Cemetery in Whitesville Daviess County KY. I would like to get any information on where it is. Of the four interments, the other two are in other cemeteries.

There is another Old Buck Creek Cemetery in McLean County near Nuckols. The Howards are not listed there but I can go there and look.
