RE: Lammert Kiel My cousins and I walked through the cemetery and took photos of most of the headstones while looking for our family members. There is a great deal of confusion about the names of the cemeteries. I can't go back into the research I did several years ago, but off the top of my head, I'd say the two cemeteries you mentioned in your message are actually just one cemetery that's been renamed over the years.
I had a lot more photos from yesterday, but it seems another find-a-grave contributor has been busy in the same cemetery, same section this week! So I only submitted maybe 10% of them -- but I did update the plot information for all of the memorials! :-) Luckily the plot information edits are easy to process and hopefully not too annoying..
My checklist for when I'm taking photos is getting longer -- I whisk off every stone (oh my aching back!!), watch for my toes, watch for reflections, watch for shadows, and try to get all of my lines straight. And the little camera I'm using is doing a great job.
Frank James Verduin Hi there, I posted a picture of a gravestone for a Leoda Verduin in which the grave for her has Frank James Verduin on the grave as well. I'm thinking that is because he is the husband and not John Verduin?? Am I wrong?? The link to Leoda says that John is the husband.
