Joined March 2010: Priceless discoveries to be found on Find A Grave. My hope is to bring some Aha moments to others. Truly appreciate all the volunteers who have spent so much time recording this information!
Corrections ~ Transfer Requests ~ Family Links ~ Questions
Many of the memorials I've added are a result of headstone photos taken "Along The Way". Please use the Edit tab on any memorial I've added, to suggest a correction or addition [i.e. Birth/death date, birth/death place; Relationship (parent and/or spouse links); Name; Plot or GPS; Marker transcription; or other corrections or additions, including Biographies, or to Request a Transfer].
Permission granted to use any HEADSTONE PHOTO I've added to Find A Grave for any genealogical use, as long as they are not offered for sale.
To send me a private message for any other reason, go to Mitzi's memorial page, click on the Edit tab & select the option: "Suggest any other correction or addition".

JUNE 2014 UPDATE: About 13,000 Memorials (for various cemeteries in southern Wisconsin) were transferred to me from this CONTRIBUTOR. They were originally added by this INACTIVE CONTRIBUTOR. Gradually working on fixing errors & duplicates, linking families, and making corrections as I can determine. Willing to transfer to family and/or others who have more information. Just ask.

Ok, thank you!
|Steve Seim||RE: Saint Bernard's Catholic Cemetery, Watertown|
Why don't you go ahead and add the memorials and photo requests. We'll be there on Saturday.
|C Tonelli||RE: Question re: maiden name edit|
Thank you for catching this. Please disregard my edit. In reading the obituaries for 2 of the daughters, I see that the parents listed may be incorrect. In the obituary, the father is listed as George (the Find A Grave father is John). One of the obituaries states they were orphaned and raised by an aunt and uncle. I will see if I can find more information on this family.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement! I enjoy so much volunteering for Find A Grave. As a retiree, it gives me something to do and I feel satisfaction knowing it helps others find those elusive relatives!
God Bless and thank you for all you do also!

|Jennifer Kaser||RE: Add same photo to their daughter's memorial|
Thanks for the advice. I added the photo for Marion. It is possible that whoever transcribed the photo didn't add Marion because there was no death date and they thought she might still be alive. I don't see any other Marion Meyer's listed in the cemetery so I don't think there is a duplicate.

it appears that you have John Writt #92192301, and John Writt #92192348, both died Oct 15, 1950, buried in Door Co., WI these seem to be the same person...I wanted to do some linking to this John Writt. Thanks. MPG
