|I have been studying the genealogy of our family for over 30 years. My mother-in-law got me seriously interested in genealogy by giving me the book "History of the Hershey Family" by Scott Funk Hershey. The book traced the history of the Hershey family. She is listed in the book and it followed her direct line, as well as others, back to the 1600's. In addition to Hershey, our family includes the Kellogg, Corrie, Johnson, Nickerson, Cheney, Rees, Poppen and Albrecht families to name only a few, some famous and a couple infamous. We are connected to a lot of families buried in the Wabash Presbyterian Church Cemetery, where my mother-in-law is interred along with her parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. Other family members direct and indirect are interred in cemeteries located in Crawford, Edwards, Lawrence, Richland and Wabash counties in Illinois as well as in South Dakota, New York, Indiana, Kansas, Ohio and other states and countries.|
Some of the information/obituaries I post on my memorials, or pass on to other contributors, may be found in the Lawrence County Public Library's genealogy department.
I am happy to transfer any memorials that are not a part of my family.

|LMM||RE: Carl Augustus Albrecht.|
My 2nd Great Grandmother was Caroline Albrecht Gruling. Her family settled in WI. I only know that she had 2 children..a daughter Marie Gruling Pruss who was my great grandmother (died before I was born)she had 7 children and a son Robert Gruling (who had 20 children).
I know from what I was told the Albrechts used to come to visit the Grulings and likewise the Grulings went to South Dakota.
Your daughter-in-law can connect with me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have quite a few descendants in SD that I am related to twice (on both sides) because a Jacob married Albrecht descendant over in SD. I think it was the Gehm family?

Thank you for your quick reply. I was seeking info on one of their children: Raymond. I have a Raymond born 8-25-1899 d. 8-12-1969 Do you know if he married a Nancy Jane Garner? Not sure if he is the Raymond, but with Vincennes being a small place back then, the Talley's must be related somehow. You can send any info to: email@example.com or share my email with any family members that might have info. Thank you so much for writing me back. Claudia

|Joanne Ikeda||Samuel Elmer Handley|
Just noticed in your Memorial for Samuel Elmer Handley #101694139 you have he died in Olney, IL. but in the bio it shows he died in the Lawrence Co. Memorial Hospital. Perhaps you wish to change where he died in your memorial. I also have that he died in Lawrenceville. I do not have a death record, but I feel Lawrenceville is the correct place of death. If you have documentation that differs please let me know.

I added the information you requested. Do you know where her parents are buried or her D/POB and D/POD? I would be happy to add more info.
|Rita Venters Woods||Ruth Reed|
The Ruth Reed who's husband is Virgil buried in Wabash Presbyterian Cemetery has birth year as 1895 and death date as 1985, but your Memorial site has 1897 and 1988. Do you want me to go ahead and post the photo?
|Herman Stayman||RE: George Begg|
No problem. I don't think we'll upset George, he's resting peacefully and I'm old and slow.
I've tried to personalize his site with family info.
Thanks a bunch.
