Retired law enforcement and military (Marines and Air Force Reserves) currently in a nursing career. I collect WWI, WWII and Vietnam era uniforms, medals, etc as my main hobby but also dabble in autographs and of course work on the family tree from time to time. Most of the memorials I have created are of family or very good friends. But, I also build memorials or write bio's for veterans who do not have a memorial or bio already built - but should have. I live in Tulsa, OK.
David England Howdy: Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that this David was not the son of Joseph England and Mary Reed. Their son Joseph was born 1800 in Hardin County, Kentucky; married Elizabeth Harlin and resided in Marion County, Illinois until moving to Cooke County, Texas, where he died in 1870.
Sallie England Hello Rick. I am Ashley Vann, I am one of the genealogist at the Cherokee Heritage Center in Tahlequah, OK. I was wondering if I have permission to save a copy of the photos you had on her memorial?
RE: Kurt Meyer Yes, I thought that might be the case. I would gladly pay $5 to add the photo, but I don't want to "sponsor" this individual's memorial. In any case, thanks for taking the time to post the well-written biography. Such efforts add a lot to the site.
