Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Northern Ohio. I got hooked on genealogy as a child listening to my Grandma tell stories about her family and my Grandpa's family. I started putting it all in a notebook as soon as I could write. That was over 45 years old now. Boy time can fly when you are having fun.
When I married my husband, my mother-in-law, Zeta Devol Bitter, was also hooked and we formed a beautiful friendship, sitting around the table every Sunday afternoon talking about my husband's family. Traveling to many cemeteries in Ohio together. (Before Computers)
I am very involved with the National Blue Family Association.
I love taking walks in Old Cemeteries and taking pictures of interesting graves. But mostly those of Family Ancestors.

Please NOTE: I am not related to all the people that I have added to this website. I will try to help anyone that I can with information I may have relating to any of the tombstones that I have added to this website. If you would like to have a larger picture of any I have posted I will be happy to share them with you. If I still have them.
IMPORTANT: I am happy to transfer memorials that I have listed to users if you have a family relationship closer than I have with the deceased. I am generally very accommodating and will bend over backwards to help you find your relative(s).
My personal guidelines in transferring memorials:
1) If you want a memorial transferred to you, please let me know in your first message to me. If you are related in anyway.. Just let me know. If you have a closer relationship than I do, I will me very happy to transfer the memorial. If I am NOT Related in anyway I am happy to transfer.

I am more than happy to add information if you send it through the EDIT tab. Feel free to add family photos if you have them.

2) PLEASE DO NOT place information in a virtual flower! The chances of me seeing it, is slim to none. Use the EDIT tab and then use the "Suggest a Correction" link and do it there.

3) If you send me information for a memorial. I will check your information with the tools I have available to me. If you send me information Please tell me where you got it from. PLEASE - Do not send me any documents to me unless I request them.

Happy Hunting

RE: Saylor Family - Midland Cemetery
I know I couldn't find anything listing for Frank & Effie when I looked them up online from the transcript ON MiFamiyHistory.org . I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone at the office. The lists are pretty good. I imagination they should be with their kids.

I can move the picture, sorry, and I will talk to the people about the spelling of the name. I can also check the map they gave me of that section, maybe something jump out at me. Sometimes they have the sites listed under the name of the family that bought the plot. So I will see what I can find. You are welcome

Effie & Frank Saylor
Hi Sarah

I am sorry but I had equipment malfunction and the pictures I took for these two are not on my camera. My husband assures me that I took them. I will go back next weekend and take them again. Your request for Frank is gone as I thought I had it but it was his son that I uploaded. I always take the whole family if they are together just in case.

Again I am sorry for any inconvenience.

Sue

RE: Christlieb Family
Sarah,
Thanks for checking. I took their burial location from their obituaries and Ohio Death Certificates. Apparently some records must have gotten lost.

RE: Mary Taylor- Willow Cemetery
Thank you Sarah...Based on a "family geneology" Mary was Joe Taylor's mother but was widowed and remarried Mr. Bartow (based on a census found) I started locally with where her son was buried, but don't know...Thank you for checking. If I find any other info i will let you know...I really appreciate it..Marsha
