This is an extension of my genealogy hobby. If I should enter someone that is not related to myself or my wife I would be more than glad to reunite them with their own family.|

|R.J.Dowell||RE: Reuben Hickman Dowell|
I am sorry for the late response. I don't believe this Reuben Hickman Dowell was in the Civil War in Missouri. All the census records I have seen for the family have them living in Iowa from 1850 to 1880. They moved to Kansas in the late 1880s. I hope this helps.

Thank you Ed, I appreciate it!
|JUDY WHISLER||SQUIRE BOONE PHILIPS|
I AM SQUIRE'S GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER.
I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD REFER ME TO THE DOCUMENTATION YOU FOUND WHERE HE WAS PARTIALLY SCALPED WHILE FIGHTING.
I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE KNOWING SO I MAY ADD IT TO MY FAMILY TREE.

James Memorial no Find A Grave Memorial# 20853780

Hi Ed, James Montgomery is my 3rd Great grandfather and I was wondering if you know where the Cemetery is that he and his 2nd wife are at? Its Hannapel Cemetery. Is it by Rebel Cave or Sam A Baker Park.
|Anna O'Quinn Richter||Elvie McCarter|
Would you please send me the memorial# for Elvie McCarter, that you say you've made? I am mystified as to why that note is on the memorial 13438662; unless I'm missing something, there surely were not two Elvie Quinn McCarters, both from York, SC, both died in March 1914. I have asked the contributor for an explanation.
I agree that that contributor isn't not terribly responsive. I have had to work around her and go to firstname.lastname@example.org to get links added to her memorials.
I read the message below mine. If that is Madison county, NC, I know two people who may be able to help you with that, one of them being the lady who put out the cemetery book.
|Grave Whisperer||New edit system and Fred David edits|
I noticed that you have added the info I sent you for Fred David #67937242 that came to you as an email. I mentioned that I had sent other edits via the new edit system and those have not been done yet. This made me wonder if you knew about the new system. I didn't until another contributor told me about it. If you go to your profile page and look at the top right there will be a tab that says "EDITS". There is a drop down box where you can choose to look at edits that have been sent to you that are pending. You can click a button that says process all edits or you can take them one by one. I hope this helps you and anyone else who happens to read this. I don't recall any message from Find A Grave to announce this new system but it's a lot faster than the old email system. Take care.
