"Through the travail of ages, midst the pomp and toils of war, have I fought and strove and perished countless times upon a star.|
As if through a glass, and darkly the age-old strife I see...where I fought in many guises, many names...but always me."
Irwin Whitehead came to Claiborne Parish, Louisiana in about 1848 from Dale County, Alabama. About 1858 Irwin and family moved to Columbia County, Arkansas.
Nathaniel Nations, a veteran of the War of 1812 was in Hempstead County, Arkansas in the 1840'S.

Duh, of course Frances W. Kelly is at Spring Branch Cemetery, I have photos of her headstone. I would love to have copies of any Irwin Whitehead material that you might share with me and to know where this Taylor Academy in Springhill is. I have never heard of the place. Email me at email@example.com. Thanks.

Hey Robert, you have Irwin buried in the Taylor Academy Cemetery..... with no marker. Was there a good reason that you created a memorial there with no headstone? Is there family record of him being buried there? Looking for needles in haystacks with this bunch of family. If you know where he is really buried, maybe that's where Frances Whitehead Kelly (my paternal great grandma) is buried. Let me know if you have any leads on her.

I have been searching for my Aunt Sue, #130640369, ever since I joined years ago! Thank you so much for putting her on here!!!
If you don't mind; I would love to manage her page and add her to the rest of her family. She is my Mother's Sister! If you would prefer to keep her; I can send you a list of you family and some information about her!
Your help on this site is truly appreciated!!!

Please call the cemetery at 419-536-3751 to get the location of the grave and update the request. Because he was not buried within the "normal" time frame of 3-5 days after death, I can not find his location in the burial record book. Thanks!

Sorry, I do not.
