Bio and Links
Bio Photo A link in the chain has been broken;
Your loved one has gone to rest.
But through your tear dimmed eyes you see,
That a loving God knows best.
And you must go on without her, and though your loss is great,
She will be there to meet you
At Heaven's Golden Gate.

By Marvel Bennett, written for my mother, Lois Goodman Skinner
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine thru.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

Florence Barton
Hi Carol,
I do not know if there are 2 Florence Barton's or just one.
Looking at all the children etc. I would say that she had to have been married at least 4 times, But do not know the order.
The notice you uploaded says "Miss Florence Barton" which would imply to me that was the first marriage but with step son and step daughter listed in his obit, she was obviously married twice before marriage to him.

Howard Ellis
Clifford Forrester
Fred Dieter
unknown Teter

In the obit of Audrey J Forrester Hynds 93543678,
9b. 1928) it lists her brothers as Tim Ellis and James Dieter.

Joel Frampton Gilfert is the President of the Eldred Oak Hill Cemetery Association and he might be able to find out if thers is a Florence Barton actually buried in Oak Hill. Chris Hobson is who complied the information I entered. We would ask them if they know more about Florence Baron.

I would guess the 2 Florence's are the same and that she is buried in Mckean.

Do you want to try to sort it out with Joel and Chris or do you want me to contact them.
If they are the same I would add a not in the bio that she is actually buried in McKean and give Find A Grave # and you could put a reference to the gravestone in Oak Hill.
