Hello: My name is Bill Kazupski and I am a resident of the City of Chicago. I live on the far south side of Chicago, blocks from a few of the south and southwest Chicago suburbs.|
I come from a family of Chicago police officers. My father spent over 30 years with the force and both my brothers and I are Chicago police officers. I am a homicide detective and have been with the Chicago police department for over 28 years. My mother is a nurse and my one sister works for Loyola Hospital.
I enjoy being a volunteer with Find-A-Grave because it allows me to get my walking exercise in while helping others. Kind of killing two birds with one stone as they say.
The following cemeteries are within walking distance from my residence:
Chapel Hill Gardens (South)
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery
Feel free to e-mail with any requests for these cemeteries.
Good Luck To All!

Thank you so very much for the photo of the headstone of my great-grandparents, Ferdinand and Anna Allensten. This means a great deal to me, as well as to my family, as well as to the family Anna left behind in Ireland with whom I've just made contact. So you made people happy on two continents!
|Shaorn ||Thank You!|
You identified a distant Uncle of mine, Thomas J. Redden, 1885-1945. I too come from the south side...but currently live in Bradenton, FL. Your service is invaluable. Thank you so much. As history has it, a nephew of this Thomas Redden was a brother to my Grandfather Charles Redden (Calvary Centenary). that brothers names was also Thomas Redden who was one of the 7 Police Officers who died in the Haymarket Riot! He is in the 'officer down" book as well as his name on the Haymarket Statue. One of my Grandfathers sons William Redden was a Chicago Police Office as well and served as president of the Police Union. Small World! (the rest were all railroad men)
Thanks again for your service and for your hobby of filling in the blanks for so many of us!
Sharon Redden Davie Diskin, Bradenton FL

I see from your bio that you are near to many cemeteries. I have other photo requests in St Mary's. #158123278 is my great aunt. I would love to see her grave, but I live in England. Can you possibly help me out?
