Julie Ann (Eskridge) Taylor|
SURNAMES: ESKRIDGE, ROY, BEAUCHAMP, CHUMBLEY, WILSON, TAYLOR, COLE, but many more that branch off.
My father - Lawrence Eskridge
Paternal GF: Clarence Eskridge
Paternal GM: Deliah Beauchamp
My mother - Lois Dean (ROY) Eskridge
Maternal GF: Thomas Cosby ROY
Maternal GM: Delpha Ann CHUMBLEY
My goal is to provide accurate up-to-date information for my family members, as well as linking them up, parents, spouse and children listed. However, I have added some very close friends and/or neighbors. If my children or grandchildren one day start to search they will find reliable information on our family.
I have some books on my family, which I am researching. I find that even having a few sites, requires time to research out some of the distant family members, but who are in the direct lineage of the family links. I believe FAG is a very good site for acquiring that information.
Personally, I do not understand why "contributors" who are creating these sites by lists, would not want to transfer a site over to any family member and/or a close friend, but they do. My nightmare is that one of these listers will get my site when I make the journey to eternity and will deny one of my own family members the honor to have my memorial site to make appropriate updates.. Really sad..
I want to thank all the contributors who have family listed, so that when they are found, they happily transfer the member over to anyone who knows the relative because that person means something to someone, and not just a statistic. Thank you so much.
I have run across "fallen members." With these members having passed away; that memorial is no longer updated unless the memorial is transferred. I have asked many times for some of these fallen members sites, only because they are related to my family. I would never ask for anyone that is not in my family.. I have no reason to do that.
Finally, I do sponsor my family members sites when I feel that I have them linked as far as I can, and all the information seems complete. I don't mind sending in the sponsership at that point, and I hope I can eventually get all of them there, that is my goal. Again, I am glad that there is a place I can come to greive my parents, and grandparents without having to drive thousands of miles to be at their grave.. Thank you FAG, I hope the sponserships will continue to come in so that this site will be available to all who are looking for their family.

Thank you for your reply of a year ago! Some of the info that you have on the Morris Family Graveyard is at odds with what I have found. It concerns William Morris. I am a direct descendant. William Morris died in Paris, Edgar County, IL and according to family papers, is buried there. He could not have died in 1836, because he and his wife were divorced in 1840. This is documented. I don't have the exact date of his death, but the year seems to be about 1848. Perhaps another William Morris (a nephew?) is buried in the Morris Family graveyard.

That's just weird, I wonder if was some kind of scam attempt?
|Dianna Taylor||RE: Beauchamp|
Yes Henriette, we were the only 2 to leave flowers on her memorial, I'm assuming this is where she got my email address. would you like me to refer her to you? I would feel better if someone closer to her had possession of the book.
P.S. she said that the book is inscribed from her teacher/brother in law J R Thompson.
|Dianna Taylor||Hennie Beauchamp|
Hello Julie, I just received an email from an "Angie S." stating she had a book of poems that belonged to Hennie and wanted to get it to a family member, Hennie was my 4th cousin, I suspect you are more closely related. did you get the same email?

A lot of people don't understand about the wider margins. I didn't know that you already knew. Thanks for adding the obit.

Thanks for bringing this duplication to my attention. I will upload a photograph to the existing memorial in the near future.

If Jesse and Leah Beauchamp are your direct ancestors I'll gladly sign over the memorials.
I descend from a different line, though I'm hoping to add more Beauchamps and try to hook the memorials together as best I can.
The main problem is discovering where many of the Beauchamps are buried.
|Glenda Barry||RE: Thank you so much Glenda !!!|
You are very welcome, I'm always glad to transfer unless it is my family member or close friend. Yes, you will be busy for a while now! My grandkids think that this site keeps me out of trouble, HA HA! But I do love Find A Grave and get a lot of joy from creating memorials and transferring them to family. Take care and let me know any time that I can help you. Have a beautiful day!
|Glenda Barry||RE: Weyers|
I have transferred them over to you. Let me know any time I can help you with transfers. Have a nice evening!
