Bio Photo NOTE:

Updated 8/15/2014

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

I will not be on the site daily--illness in my family. This is but a hobby--my family comes first.

I am also having internet connection problems (intermittently), so corrections will get done as soon as I am able, but within the allowed time limits.
I have been dealing with chronic health issues for many years, and I am always playing "catch up." I try and do the best I can. If I post a photo to one of your memorials, and you are not satisfied, feel free to submit a photo request and wait for another graver to fill it.
I DO NOT link to "Burial Unknowns." This is a graves registration site, not a genealogy site, and I will not link to any burial listed as Unknown.

Per administrator Mark (9/21/2012):

"Admins won't knowingly link any memorial to a memorial of unknown disposition. We should not expect you to link them either."
I do not give permission for my photos uploaded to this website to be posted on any other website (and that includes and is not limited to Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere (on other sites) would be a violation of copyright, and a violation of Find A Grave's policy as well. Ancestry (of which I am not a member but do check from time to time) provides a link feature for you to add a link to Find A Grave memorials. Please read the Ancestry Terms of Use regarding copyrighted photos. Stealing them from here and uploading them there can result in the loss of your account there, with your money non-refundable.

REMEMBER: Just because a picture is on the Internet doesn't mean you are entitled to it!

Also, when requesting transfers, submitting corrections, etc., please use the EDIT tab in the upper right hand corner of the memorial. That way, I get all the links and can do them easily. If requesting a transfer, PLEASE state the relationship to the person you are requesting. I am related to many of the people for whom I created memorials, and I need to know this. Also, do not post correction or transfer requests on my page here--I probably won't see them, as I get many messages a day--and the EDIT tab is the correct procedure to use. Thanks in advance.
Please visit the memorial for my brother-in-law, who passed away suddenly on January 21, 2011 at the age of 54:

Bill Rampp

Thank you for your kindness.

Much Appreciation
First of all my hope is that you are feeling well these days. May you be blessed with continued strength. Next I wanted to extend my appreciation for the 2 memorials you created of (my paternal Aunt & Uncle) George & Genevieve Tier at Woodmere Cemetery (memorials # 133251484 and 133251485). I have placed a description in Ancestry on each of their pages but did not place the stone photos per agreement. Do folks ever ask you for permission to do so? Or would you rather transfer the memorial to me? I have never asked to do this before and unsure of the proper steps for requesting such, all advice is welcome. I know you are busy, I will pray for your health and hope to hear from you someday soon.
You are quite an inspiration! Much appreciation.

RE: Sam Nappo
Thanks for your help. Sam has 4 living siblings. Libra, his sister, is 84 and a real treat to be around. The last name in Italy was Nippo. We went the awful day Detroit was flooded. Plan to go again next spring. Hope to pick a better day. My graveyard buddy, Ellinda, has not been able to go "graving" because of a bad back. With luck she will be better by Spring. There's safety in numbers. If you would like, I will let you know when we are going and maybe we can team up. Carol

RE: Re: Pirvu photo requests
Hi Lady in Black,

Thank you for taking the time to take pictures of the Pirvu family grave.
My quest for the Pirvu family grave begun when I discovered your picture with the grave of the Pirvu's daughter Viola that died in 1929.

Regards from Romania!

Sam Nappo
That horrible day that Detroit flooded, was the day my son had promised to take me to Trinity and Woodmere. We hadn't watched the new reports and had to take many detours. The cemeteries muddy, but I didn't know when he would be able to take me again so we tried our best. With us was my 84 year old friend Libra Cramer (nee: Nappo) Sam's sister. She told me his name really was Salvatore but everyone called him Sam. I am going to get more information from her. Need correct spelling of name and full dates of events instead of just years. I have found your name many times. You are doing an awesome job. Thanks for the concern. Carol
