I started researching my family history after my mother died from a hereditary disease but got hooked and have been climbing the family tree for over 30 years. I hope I have contributed to the family history for generations to come.|
I am a volunteer with the Portage Community Historical Society and they have allowed me to have a genealogy and historical research area in the Goin Museum. If you have an early Portage Township family, consider donating a copy of your family history to our museum.
My Favorite Poem
A Daisy Beside the Rose
by Diana Sue Lindley Horton
Among the many flowers, God,
Within Your garden fair,
May I, a simple daisy be
So proudly standing there.
I need not be the most admired,
Great beauty to disclose;
It's certain in Your garden,God,
Not all can be a rose.
'Twould be to me an honor,
If where Your garden grows,
I could but be a daisy -
That stands beside the rose.

I do not have much information on the Crow (e) side of my family. I wish I could be more helpful. Are you related to Nacy Crow?
|Jane Bickett||Roy Lee Crow (e)|
If you are not related to Roy Lee Crow, would you be willing to transfer him to me? Roy's mother was my great aunt. If you are related to him...well, hello! My # is 46936631. Thanks.
I am interested in obtaining any more info you can about this grave site. I think this is my cousin. Any help is appreciated.

okay I figured it out - I had put a space in the address so that it would not misshape the design of the page and that made the address invalid.

Hi there, You are right, the links don't work. I guess you will have to go to the main page at http://www.indianaroots.lib.in.us/ and then search the name yourself. Sorry about that!

Hi, I posted edits for Vincent Aimutis 51530640, Bill is his nickname, his birth 1910 Pennsylvania, death Gary, Lake, Indiana, USA. His 1st wife Julia Aimutis 12781144 and 2nd wife Pearl Amanda Beach Burkett Aimutis 65317930.
I am trying very hard to get the family memorials updated so if you could accept the edits I would appreciate it, Thanks Fran

I took that photo at the Winnebago Cemetery in Winnebago, IL. I can't say for sure that their ashes are buried there but their headstone certainly is at this cemetery, as are several of Jennie's family/ancestors.
I contacted their memorial's creator about a possibly change of memorial type or a transfer of them to me.
Thanks for asking; hope this helped!
