Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very actively pursuing family information. I maintain an tree, and my brother and I have family photo sites on Smug Mug, where we display the photos we get from family members and kind souls who share on these programs in hopes of preserving and sharing them with all families who need them. It occurred to me when going through my mother and grandmother's huge trunks full of photos that it was sad for one family to have all those treasures and not share. And, so began my many, many hours of scanning and sharing photos and information.

I also enjoy visiting other memorials and cemetaries and adding flowers, pictures or data to memorials that have no information, or very little. My husband and I walk through cemetaries quite often, and find the headstones so interesting. I love adding to the history of these people, and it grieves me to find one that says "unknown" on a headstone. Genealogy has become a true passion.

My lines are Duncan, Mather, Dodson, Smith, Moore, Bullion, Curtis, Whitehead, Barron, Reid, and you know how that goes - many more! I am happy to share information and photos with those seeking help, and so very much appreciate all that is shared with me.

I live in the Hill Country of Texas, am married, and enjoying retirement. I am a native Texan, and my Ancestors all go back many generations in Texas.

Please feel free to use my information and any photos I have posted. I do not understand the fuss about using someone's photos. If they are sacred and personal, then don't post them, is my philosophy. We are all here to help one another and share for this and future generations. So many photos get lost in fires, animals getting into boxes, etc., so why keep them private? After we are all gone, our grandchildren and gr-grandchildren will someday be searching for images and information, and if I took it with me, they would be left at a loss. There are so many members in my family who suffered fires, floods, tornados, and other losses. But, at one time they DID have a photo of "Great Uncle John", however, now due to some unforseen circumstance, it's lost forever..... Think about it.

God bless and and Happy Trails..

Nancy Boultinghouse Carroll Marcus
Hello Lynda, I just read your profile/bio after going to Nancy Boultinghouse Carroll Marcus's findagrave page...very nice! I see that she's your 3x great grandmother and that you manage her page, so maybe you can help me with a related question. I am trying to find proof that Calvin Gage Boultinghouse and his wife Susan Alice (Glover) B'house are buried at Smithwick Cemetery. I've spoken with a lady who documented all the headstones at this cemetery and she didn't find any for either Calvin or Alice. I understand that the cemetery also did ground penetrating radar to find where bodies might be buried in areas that only had rocks or stones that were no longer legible. Of course, they have no names to put to those located graves. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

FARRIN in Lee Cemetery, Saline Co. ARK
Hello, doing some work on a local cemetery, and found your Dudley and Kate Farrin in Lee Cemetery in Saline County. They are a match to my local ones. Just wanted you to know. I took the pictures for the ones here in Benton, so I am confident that is where the monuments are. Do you have any ideas?

Dear Cindy,

I am a member of Find A Grave and a great granddaughter of Wm James. I see that you maintain this site along with a number of others. Could you tell me if you are related and how? I also have a Ancestry tree which is public.

I know you have no direct line to this person. I saw that you left a memorial for him and listed his calvary in the army. It seems to me that he fought in the Civil War, but I'm trying to confirm that information. I could not find him under the list of soldiers on the civil war website. If you can anyway help me let me know. He is my great X3 grandfather. I'm trying to trace our family tree back to which country our family came from.
