Bio Photo I was born in 1930 and raised in Barron, Wisconsin. I served in the Army Signal Corps from 1948 - 1952 and was discharged as a Staff Sgt. Worked for the Post Office in Barron for three years. Graduated from Wisconsin State College at Eau Claire, WI. in 1960 and then went to work for the US Food & Drug Adm. Retired in 1988. Currently living in Sun City, Georgetown, TX with my wife Janet.

Since I have no relatives buried in Texas, I will transfer any memorials that are your relatives or friends to you. Just click on EDIT in the upper righthand corner of the memorial, select the first line in the menu and request the transfer. Be sure to include your ID number.

I wish to thank all those who have pointed out my errors so they could be corrected and who have provided additional information for the bio, such as obituaries.

Amanda Elizabeth England
Dear Mr. Christeson,
I saw a find a grave page that you originated with information on Amanda Elizabeth England (born Ashworth). She was grandmother to a very dear friend of the family, Artie Seale of San Antonio.I have been helping her to find information as to where her grandmother was born, but to no avail. She did identify her grandmother and the two boys on the photo you posted on the site as William Grover and Walter David England. We thought perhaps since you had so much information on her grandmother's family you might have an idea of where we could find where her grandmother may have been born.

she was born in 1873 in Texas, but do not know where in Texas she was born.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Grace Kelly
Just realized there is a duplicate for the memorial for Grace Kelly 10981379 under the name Marion Grace Ferguson Kelly 100779274. You had graciously transfered the Marion Grace Kelly memorial to me, when requested, but guess we should delete it. Let me know if I have to transfer this back to you for this to be deleted, as I know I cannot delete it since I am not the original creator of this memorial.

Much appreciated

Where did the family photo of Markus Hefty come from? Katherine and Markus are my great great great grandparents and Marcus Jr. is my great great grandfather. My grandma probably has a copy somewhere, but I don't remember seeing it. I actually only learned they were buried in Campia a couple years ago (I grew up in Rice Lake). I always assumed they were buried in New Glarus. It's really cool to see the picture.
