John S Carbaugh
Hi Krysten,

I have a photo of the gravestone of John S Carbaugh. I'm not sure if he is the one you are looking for, the dates are slightly off, 1849-1919. Also on the stone is Elizabeth M 1853-1931.

RE: About Deborah Kline
Hi,

I don't really know if Deborah had a sister named Paula. I'm not in contact with the family and don't know much about them. Deborah Kline was murdered as a teenager in 1976, and the case is rather well-known in the local area where I live. You could maybe try looking for her obituary in the archives of the Waynesboro, PA newspaper, The Record Herald. There was also a book written about the Deborah Kline murder case - Missing Person by Robert V. Cox. It's out of print now but you might be able to find a copy at a library or on Amazon.com. It would probably include some details about her family.

Bob DeShong
Hi Krysten, haven't talked to you in a while. The photo of Bob DeShong in the Army truck is a real gem.

Infant Deshong
Krysten, I was at Siloam United Methodist Church cemetery this morning, found a stone with 'infant son of C.E. & A. Deshong 1915' is this the gravestone you are asking for?

RE: About Mary McNerlin Cooper
Krysten, I found an obit for Nancy McNerlin, made a page for her, and transferred her to you. Her obit gives good info on her ancestry, and I've linked her to her father John McNerlin. I requested linking for John's son George McNerlin. I see that the name is often spelled with a g at the end, so you should try the spelling both ways if searching where exact spelling matters.

As to Mary McNerlin Cooper: She was the "Mrs. Cooper" mentioned in Nancy's obit, so she was a sister and John McNerlin was her dad, too. The graver who created Mary McNerlin Cooper's memorial is inactive, so they won't provide a link to her father. I've found that with an inactive graver, if you email Findagrave administrators and request an administrative transfer, they'll do it. It may take several months. One took me nine months. Be sure to identify gravers and memorials by number and name, and ask that they transfer to you because you're related and explain how you're related.

Amelia Iorio
I found Amelia's site (80246277) and I also added a pic for Frank. I found a number of other IORIOs and I'll be putting up their pics/sites in the next few days, where needed.

Regards

chronicling america
Krysten, several of your photo requests are in Fulton County, Pa. The Fulton County News is online about 1900-1922. You have a photo request for Roxy Sipes DeShong. She died after 1922 so her obit won't be online, but I bet you $10 that if you search Chronicling America, click Pennsylvania only, use search terms "sipes deshong" you'll find their wedding write-up in the Fulton County News.
