I joined FAG a few years ago. I was searching for a friend's obituary, and was never able to locate it because there was no obituary. I wrote an obituary for my friend (Gail A. Dodson) Gail - ANGEL DAY MAY 16 and put it on FAG. I have added numerous memorials toFAG. In order to help others locate burial information, I add memorials. If I have entered any information incorrectly, please let me know and I will make corrections. I am grateful to all who visit my virtual cemeteries. |
I would like to thank all my FAG friends for your kind words during the loss of my father. You all mean so much to me. I was blessed to have a truly wonderful father. I miss him so much. Thank You, again, dear friends
My husband is ill and is hospitalized. I am attempting to keep up with edits, but edits will not be done as quickly as I have been doing them. I will do them as soon as I can. Please understand.
A wonderful person and great father.

|Chris ||Alexander Strachan - Oakwood, Farmington|
Hello: As you can see, I am way behind on my messages. Alexander is not buried in Oakwood. The city of Farmington doesn't have him in their records. He died 20 years after his wife and in WI. Interesting that you heard from Wendy. I've been trying to get her to respond to my edits and messages for two years to make corrections, etc. and she has never answered me or corrected her errors. She doesn't know anything about Oakwood Cemetery. I have all the data on the cemetery. I have been there 34 times and taken over 2000 pictures. The city provided me with printouts of their burials and I spent over 25 hours at city hall recording every burial - names, lots, dates etc. I took a picture of Mary's stone in October of 2013. There is no marker for Alexander. If he was Mary's husband, the link is okay but he needs to be removed from Oakwood. Regards...

|Zane's Mom||RE: Zane' grave|
The school you see in the back ground is the 2nd oldest school in Columbia, Missouri. It is Grant Elementary School. My children didn't attend that school. Grant children are very use to the cemetery and often take tours and learn about the history of the people that settled our town and the University of Missouri. They also have a track class where they can run through the cemetery in the mornings when the weather is good. A few times when I have been there to visit Zane and the students are at recess, they have called out to me to see if I was ok - such a sweet gesture.
Thank you for asking.
Cecilia (Zane's Mom)
I am sorry to see that your husband is not well. I haven't been on here much lately and missed it. Will be praying the bone marrow transplant is successful. Hugs, Rosie
Glad to hear that the bone marrow is coming a long. I know this is a very crucial time for him. Also a very slow process that has to be monitored 24/7.
I have faith it will work and God Bless your donor.. they are giving you and your husband a beautiful and wonderful gift. Blessed is the heart that gives. God Bless them.
I will keep you and your husband in prayer,
I wanted to let you know that many prayers are being sent your way for you and your precious husband. I know it's not easy and praying you can find some help and comfort within family and friends, we all care.
Bless You and Your Family,
