AUGUSTA CHRONICLE, AUGUSTA GEORGIA, SATURDAY, 31 JANUARY 1968 – HEATH
Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Heath, 86, who died Monday in Burke County Hospital after an extended illness, will be held at 3 pm today at Sardis Baptist Church. The Revs. Charles Ray and Troy Hollingsworth will officiate. Burial will be in Habersham Church Cemetery.
She was a native of Burke County and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was the widow of Edward Lee Heath.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian McGlohorn, Sardis; son, Alvin L. Heath, Sardis; sister, Mrs. Lizzied Holland, Sardis; four grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Holland, Arthur Long, Franklin Jenkins, Hazel Jenkins, Herman Hamilton, Eugene Ellison, Thomas Cullen and Belpoe (Shine) Holland.
Friends may call at the home until the hour of service.

Pike’s Peak Auto Mishap Kills One – Colorado Springs: A car plunged 300 feet down a cliff on Pike’s Peak yesterday, killing the father of a sight-seeing family and injuring six persons. It was one of the few accidents in modern times on the famed peak highway.
Charles Cullen, 71, of Sartis, Georgia, was killed. In critical condition are a daughter, Louise Cullen, 35, of Hialeah, Florida, and a family friend of Woodside, Long Island, New York.
In serious condition are Lawton Green, 34, Dumas, Texas, his wife Katherine, 29, and the Green’s two children, Dorothy, 10, and Charles,8. Mrs. Green is a daughter of Cullen.

Amber, I am glad I found this photo on Girden Bray. Can you tell me if you have heard of Thomas Shelton Bray married to Elizabeth from Indiana, both born in Kentucky? They are my 2nd Great-grandparents? Please let me know if you have any information I would love to see a picture of them (I know that is a long shot) Thank you so much for your time. Cindy

Turn at the light into the Cemetery.Go a little over halfway along the edge right there is where they are. It was no problem. There is also a Cullen in the Mauseleum my friend took the pic she is gonna send it to me.

Cullen Markers Burke Mem Gardens
Hey Amber well I will email you with the details on what I found but on William his DOB is 1857
and I think the Death Date was 1948 is how it looked anyway. There was 2 other Cullens that you didn't know about attached to these people. Not sure how but thought you would want to know, also I have added them and if you want them send me your number so that I can transfer to you. The Markers are shiny because there had been some rain prior and was cloudy.
