Even as a very young child, I loved walking around the cemeteries with my grandma, Bertha Tolbert (133873460) She would show me our family's graves, and tell a little story of each one, as we walked them. Now I take my camera.|
I am not sitting at home with a book of obituaries, or cruising the funeral home and newspaper obituaries just to build up my numbers. (Where's the reward in that?) Other than my family, and friends, all the memorials I create are from walking the cemeteries with my camera. I do it so someone can find their departed, and I can transfer them. I will always transfer memorials.
A sincere, heartfelt, thank you to all who visit my "loved ones" I appreciate it very much.
Among others, these are three scripture that I try to live by:
~ Ephesians 4:32 ~
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
~ James 4:17 ~
"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth not, to him it is sin."
~ Matthew 25:40 ~
"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
Be kind one to another, for what we do to one another, we do to Jesus.
The Lord's Blessings to all

|Nathan Thomas Taylor||Sgt Paul Raymond Slevin, Sr|
Thank you for photographing Sergeant Paul Raymond Slevin, Senior's gravesite marker. Everyone deserves to be remembered, and now his family and relatives can know where he rests from anywhere in the world they happen to be in, no matter how far away.
Keep up the excellent work!
If I remember correctly, you have done a lot of work around Bethesda. Can you tell me if any of these cemeteries are complete or almost completely documented ?
Mead Twp. is almost finished and then I'm going to work on Richland County.
I'm using the Find A Grave app on my iPhone. It uploads the photo and records the gps location.
Keep in touch,
I really appreciate your taking the photo of his headstone, and I truly enjoyed reading your bio. Like you, very few of my memorials are created outside of having found them on site.
I can't remember why I created Richard's a year ago, but if you are related to either him or his wife, I would be happy to transfer him to you. Just let me know.
