Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been collecting family & friends' photos, obituaries, articles, announcements, documents, etc. for approximately the past 38 years. Several family members were already active on FAG and Ancestry.com researching our family history. I hope to contribute by sharing information, photos, documents and help others as I continue my journey exploring our ancestry...

*Note: Memorial bios are taken from family research, official documents, United States Federal Census, cemetery headstones/markers, records and obituaries. Newspapers such as the Panhandle Press, The Independent, The Messenger and the Hancock County Courier no longer exist and are posted as references. Other resources are noted accordingly. "Memorials" are created as a remembrance for those before us with as accurate information as possible for generations to come...

You can use the photo I took, it's not a problem. I'm glad I found it for you.

My experience with names from that era are that the spellings were often free form!

RE: Gvozdich Family Members - Serbian Orthodox Cemetery, Weirton, WV
You're welcome. Sin/Otac/Majka are simply son/father/mother, so they're only labels marking the relationships between the names.

Best wishes,
Don

James Luke edit decline
Hello Peggy, I was wondering if you might know who his parents are since you wrote that they are not the James and Mary Reed Luke who I sent links for. I'm not related, however I strive for accuracy and love reuniting family members. You didn't mention in James' bio who his parents are. Would love to know. thanks very much!

Thank you for the beautiful photograph of his and Sabia's stone at Mount Calvary Cemetery. I have entered the location of his birth. You broke through a "brick wall" for me. Thank you.
