Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began my genealogy quest in 1995 using Family Tree Maker. My research family includes: Blaine, Stone, Kern, Disher. My wife Debbie's family research includes: Dunn, Hickey, Trendle, Thome.

I took a hiatus from genealogy from 2001-2005. I then retired after 28 years in Air Traffic Control and have resumed the hunt.

RE: Thome
Mary Thome: father: John Thome mother:Augusta Boecking grandfather: Matthias Thome grandmother: Anna Rau

Matthias Thome came from Germany sometime in the late 1840's or early 1850's. He came to Limestone Township, Peoria County, IL. In 1859 he married Anna Rau. They had: Marian Catherine Thome (Bour), Mary Thome (Wilhelm), Nicholas Thome, and John Thome (Mary Thome Trendle's father). John was a coal miner in Limestone Township - he married Augusta Boecking. They had 3 children - Mary Thome (Trendle), Elizabeth Thome (McKenzie) (Nance) and Nicholas Thome (my grandfather). Augusta Boecking Thome Died when the children were young. John & his children lived with his brothers and sister-in-laws (the Boeckings) in East Peoria, IL. He remarried, but left the children in East Peoria.

I have a family tree on ANCESTRY.COM. with an early photo of the Mary, Elizabeth & Nicholas.

Mary Thome Trendle is related to me. Mary Thome was my Dad's aunt. She had a sister Elizabeth and a brother Nicholas. Nicholas was my grandfather.

Theodore,

I can't add any information to this memorial. Only your cousin can do it. Once a transfer has been made, the person who created the memorial gives all rights to add information.
