Hi! I'm a Woman Marine veteran, 71, mother of 2, G-mother to 11 and GG-mother to 5. After living 27 yrs in the Pacific NW (last working as an Engineer with Intel) we retired in 2005 and moved to north central, rural Missouri. |
Please visit and leave flowers for a young U.S. Marine, Christopher "Blake" Rodgers who gave his precious life for our county. Thank you.
***Please use the EDIT tab to submit requests for additions/changes. Supply memorial # for links.
Let me say, I am NOT related to any of the Missouri memorials I entered or maintain. I created them for you to find!! So I am happy to transfer, just ask.
If I don't respond (within a month) and you've tried a couple of times, please contact the FAG administrators email@example.com and ask for help. I wouldn't want you to think I was ignoring you. [FAG can contact my daughter Robin Bergeron if necessary at firstname.lastname@example.org to update my profile status.]
Here is the list of our (deceased) Fallen Gravers.
FAG is a wonderful opportunity to 'virtually' visit loved one's gravesites. I do thank the creators of this website for their love and thoughtfulness.

That is what I normally do. There are many temporary markers that years later still have not been replaced with permanent markers. I'm not saying that is the case here, just that I think all burials should be documented. I will post a photo of the permanent marker when it is placed and if someone beats me to it, I will remove the photo of the temporary one.

I posted a picture of the temporary grave marker for Mr. Harding. My Mother is buried in this cemetery, so I visit it every little while and try to keep the headstones photographed. When the permanent marker is placed, I will post a photo.

Thank you in pointing out Henry's two marriages to me. I had no idea. God bless you and thank you for your service!

It's me again. Nancy J Courter's maiden name is Miller. I would love to manage hers and her husband's memorials too, if you don't mind. The Millers are particularly special to me. My 5th great grandmother was Nancy (Flinn) Miller, who is probably buried here too, but I believe she and her husband George died shortly after arriving in Missouri--their graves are unknown (but maybe the two wooden stakes there at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery). :)
Thank you for your time,

Oh Coleah, thank you, and thank you for telling me the story of the lady who originated the grave memorials. That really touches me. I will certainly do my very best to prove the details that are written there.
I just got home from work and noticed my name at the bottom of one, and then I saw the message from you! Wow!
I appreciate your quick response; since I was just there on Tuesday, I am really into working on this now that it's the weekend. I put 15 photos on this morning during a down time at work. :)

Thanks so much for posting the photo of her headstone.

Thank you for the work you have done! Wow! I just made the long trip west to Harrison Co., MO this week for the very first time. I am related to all the Miller, Ballard, and Gillespie families buried in that cemetery. I photographed all of them, and stood in awe of the beautiful surroundings before leaving. If you would transfer all of those memorials, I would take great care of them. :) If it would be easier for me to list those memorial numbers, I will do so.
