I am here with my 4 children and 5 grandchildren. I am now 63 years old. I graduated from high school in 1964, married in 1968, and divorced in 1986. Remained close with my ex-and his family after the divorce. He died in 2000, and the rest of his family shortly after. I went back to school after my children grew up and got an Associates Degree in the late 1990'S. I have since became disabled. My hobbies are my wonderful grandchildren and geneology.|
Families that I am seeking.

Thank you for the name. We will add him/her to our list so (s)he will have a flag placed on the grave for Memorial Day. It is not required they be on Find A Grave, just served in the military, peace or war time and be buried at Westlawn-Hillcrest.
Please let others know of this project sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326. The more people that know about it, the more complete our list will be. We know many that served in the military have no indication of their service on their grave.

|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

I know it is hard to believe people even existed when there is no headstone. Maybe you can try to get death certificates or church records of the burials. Good Luck!

Glad to do it!
|Penny Karrer||RE: Mary Clanton's Grave Stone|
I will do it right now! :)
|Penny Karrer||Mary Clanton's Grave Stone|
I took a picture of the grave stone for Mary Clanton in the St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles, IA. However, the dates you list do not match the dates on the stone. The dates on the stone are: 1896 to 1948. I hesitate to post it in case it is the wrong one. I would be happy to send it to you and you can decide if you would like to post it.

I am curious as to why you left a memorial on the baby grave of my grandfather's baby brother. Are you related in some way? If so, I'd love to converse with you about our connections. I am the granddaughter of Fred Moore....Phyllis Harris DePoy. I graduated Wincheswter High School in 1949 and am the daughter of John P. Harris....phd

Thank you so much for transferring Uncle Clarence's memorial to me. He drowned in the Niobrara River when he was 12 and my father was 7 so it feels good to have him near. I am related to the William's family thru Gilbert (my great grandfather) then to Edgar then to Jeremiah and finally to John Williams my 4th great grandfather. Plus I am double related to some of the Williams who married into my Carr family. And no, I don't know the Coopers from Garden County, Nebraska, sorry.

Yes, the cemetery superintendent was pretty surprised at how many graves did not have markers. You're very welcome.
|Barbara Haines||Regarding William C. McIntosh born Jan. 29, 1905|
Sarah Ann Bay's husband was William C. McIntosh who was born May 16, 1856 and died April 16, 1907. This is from some McIntosh genealogy I have been working on. My husband's grandmother was a McIntosh.
