Bio Photo Hello everyone - I live in Huron County, Ohio, have three living children, and one deceased as a baby (SIDS). I love genealogy and have been doing it for at least 25 years. Barbara Kane Kolanda

TRANSFERS: With any findagrave memorial that I maintain, if you are a closer relative than I, I will transfer. If I have no connection and you have some connection (even friendship), I will transfer, as long as you do the same, and transfer freely as well.

A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.

It has been said that every person has three deaths.

The first is the actual physical death, when the spirit leaves the body.

The second is when the body is lowered into the grave, never again to be seen in the flesh.

The third and final death comes much later, when all who knew that person have joined him in the afterlife, and the name, even the existence of that person, vanishes from knowledge.

Yes I didn't realize how many spelling variations there were until I started trying to go back farther in this line. There is actually 3 others: Welsch and Walch and Voelch. So I guess I will run into this alot. Thanks so much for your help. I love your bio about cemetery and 3 deaths.

RE: Annie Hettle
I am posting the gravestone picture shortly. I only have pictures of Hettel relatives. Not all the Hettel's in St. Alphonsus are from my direct line. I will try to add actual photos to some of my family, as I find time.

RE: Mildred Thorn
You requested, a edit for her place of death , I accepted it without looking into where you got the information. Now I am curious are you certain this is correct? Do you have any other information on her family? Is she in your family tree?

Thanks for the email. I'm new here. I fixed the last name being in the middle name location. Why do I have to delete it?
