|Silent One||RE: re: sponsorship of William Aust's Memorial|
Hello John...it is truly a pleasure to sponsor your grandfather's memorial...As I read his memorial I could see he was a special person he served his country and loved his family...looking at his picture at a young age touched my heart ...sometimes you can read many memorials some just tug at your heart,
|Wes Hart||Mackey family, Ulster County, NY|
I am looking for information on Elias Mackey, born about 1754, son of Jurian Mackey born ca 1725 and Catrina Pressler.
My ancestor Elias Mackey, Find A Grave Memorial# 40924502 served in the Revolution from Washington County, Virginia with Zephaniah Woolsey from Marlborough, Ulster County, New York. They were later neighbors in newly formed Greene County, Tennessee. Also, my Elias named his first born son Alexander (my ancestor) that I feel may have been the name of his Grandfather.
Any information you might have regarding this family may be helpful.
Thank you very much

Thank you for photographing this headstone and publishing it. I have been searching for my estranged fathers resting place for years.

|Joseph William Perry||The marker we never saw.|
Thanks John for doing this work. My wife was able to find your picture of the marker for my baby brother Robert Francis Perry, who only lived for six days in 1956. Later, my folks paid for the marker but never saw it because of moving overseas and never coming back to Schenectady again. I was able to show the picture to my ninety-two year old father and he was very glad to see it.
