Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since I was 15. Collected a lot of old bibles and pics when I was young from the older generations which worked out good, because they would have been thrown out when they died. I love FAG and have found many ancestors on here and met a lot of people on here. Willing to help anybody who has ancestors in Maryland.

Hi Kim, you are certainly welcome. That is why I originally tried to transcribe the entire cemetery. It was my gift back to genealogy and I got a gift back by finding many cousins also doing genealogy. Best wishes and let me know if you need others. Jane

Thanks for the photo of the stone. It is appreciated. So many of the memorial I make are of people I find while researching someone else. It might be nice to go back in a few months when the ground has settled and the grass grown and replace the picture
Your help is appreciated.

RE: Louisa Bast
Hi Kim,
Louisa L. Earnshaw Apsey Bast married my
Great Great Great Grandfather Solomon
Bast (by marriage). She was a widow when
they married.

Her first Marriage was to William Apsey, Jr.
(don't have his birth date here with me now but could look it up....he must have died before 27 Dec, 1836, because thats when Louisa married Soloman). William and Louisa had 4 daughters together. She lived her life out with her 2nd husband Solomon and they had 3 more children.

I cannot find an entry for William Apsey, Jr in Find a Grave--I did look.

Did I ask that you transfer this memorial over to me? I don't recall, but if you could I would appreciate can do it anytime. No rush.

Thank you for your interest, work and help on this.

RE: Conrad and Margaret Schissler
You also need to use the archives site. It gives you birth, death and marriage dates (within certain years) and once you find the record, you can get a copy. DO NOT ORDER THEM ONLINE. They charge $25 per record online. I go down once every second or third month and can get them for you a lot cheaper, unless you'd like to go with me sometime and learn to get them yourself.

The site is:

Start with Reference and Research, death records. City records you need the code after the death date. Any county record you will need the county and date. Sounds confusing but when you find someone write down everything next to their name.

RE: Conrad and Margaret Schissler

We will definitely need to wait on the visit. The cemetery is at the east end of North Avenue and that's where a lot of this is going on. North Ave is not the best of neighborhoods on a good day.

If you need any additional dates, let me know. Do you use the state archives site?
