Bio Photo Long interested in cemeteries & ghost stories, this sight I really love! I love the fact that I can have "forever" obituaries for my loved ones and friends and that I can also assist those who are interested in tracing their family trees! I have a particular interest in Native American genealogy and cemeteries.

RE: okay now i remember
No worries, I know it can get a bit crazy on here. LOL Thank you for deleting it.

I now manage the memorial for her spouse and have added his middle name.

On another note, do you know why the photos on the memorial you were managing for Elizabeth were removed? There's a copy of the photo on with a link to the memorial you deleted but there were no photos when you deleted it. I left messages for those who took photos of other graves in that cemetery to see if they may have taken the photo of Elizabeth's marker.

Thanks, again.

RE: Nope
The link to the requested memorial:

She's my 4th great grandmother via her daughter, Katherine McElwain Weese. Thanks for looking into this.

RE: Nope
You created the other memorial and turned it over for me to manage. Why would you want two of them?

Sarah Weaver McMillan
We also have a different date of birth for Sarah Weaver McMillan, #14940103. We have it as 1780, not 1784. But if you have a source that indicates it was a different date than we have, please let us know.

John McMillan II
Hi there! I'm a member of the McMillan Association based in Canonsburg, and am trying to get Dr. McMillan's descendants linked up on findagrave. I see that you have the year 1787 for the date of the birth of Dr. McMillan's son, John McMillan II. This is not the date we have, which is 1789, and I see there is another memorial that has the date 1789 but is clearly a duplicate of yours.

Do you have reason to think that his birth year was actually 1787?

RE: Powers info
Hi Blue Rose,

My passion is photography... any add'l info comes from checking sources to determine/confirm the names/dates and inscriptions on monuments.

The Powers info I sent along was probably from Oakwood Cemetery, Bedford, VA cemetery records and possibly from obits found at F/G from the same cemetery.

Cheerful Regards, Bruce

Larry Milliken
Stonybrook Cemetary
Your memorial for Daniel Perrine Sr. d. 6 June 1719 was buried in Stonybrook, Richmond, Richmond Co. Staten Is.

One of the three graves was for James Ganoe d. 24 July 1757. I requested a pic and person could not find the site. Not sure how may counties are on Staten Island , how ever Richmond Co shows to be in the southern part of the island. Yet another source indicates Stonybrook was near Port Richmond on the north part of the island.

Were you able locate Stonybrook? Any infor will be appreciated.

Shelley McMinn Anderson
Samuel Harper II & Hannah Harper, his first wife
My name is Shelley McMinn Anderson. I am the secretary for the Glades Cemetery in Carmichaels, Pa. I was wondering if you would consider transferring the memorial of Samuel Harper II f.a.g. # 16420446 to me. He is my fifth great-grandfather.
He and his first wife, Hannah Swearington Harper had a daughter, Jane, who was married to Stephen Burnet (my fourth great-grandparents), who had a son, Samuel Burnet who married Susannah Smith (my third great-grandparents), who had a son, Houlsworth Burnett who married his first wife, Sarah McCann (my 2x great-grandparents), who had a daughter, Anna Ellen Burnett, who married John Reuben McMinn (my great-grandparents), who had a son Albert McMinn, Sr. who married Catherine McCann (my maternal grandparents who raised me from birth).

If you are perhaps also related to Samuel Harper and don't wish to transfer the memorial, I completely understand. Thanks for your consideration.

Powers on D-Day
Blue Rose,

Thank you very much for the name updates of the Powers family in Bedford, VA.

Today is the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Jack Powers, #130742285 and #56648929, lost his life on Omaha Beach, France.

Sincere Regards, Bruce
