|Audrey Clendenin||RE: Vona Butcher|
Thank you so much for contacting me, instead of just declining my edit, like some others have.
The 1880 U.S. Federal Census for Eli and Esther Kennedy in Rutland, Meigs, Ohio has her name as Livona. She was only 8 years old then. From the 1900 U.S. Federal Census forward she was recorded as Vona, as you've noticed. That's the only proof I have that her name was Livona, so the decision to change it or not is totally up to you. I will understand either way.
Again, thanks for caring enough to contact me!

You're welcome! It was the first nice day in ages here in Cincinnati and I was grateful to spend it outside! Just a note about Littleford's marker: it appears MUCH newer than any of the ones around it - as does his siter's (Hope Walker). Hope's marker is of the same style and appears to be about the same age. Her marker is a few rows over from Littleford's. I believe that someone placed these markers much later than 1902 and 1903.

According to Spring Grove Records (www.springgrove.org), Lettleford (Littleford) Walker and Hope Walker were siblings. Parents listed as James and Lulu Walker on both interment records. You can see these online at the above website.
I will try to find these markers when the weather gets better here.

Hello, you have this couple mentioned as parents on one of your memorials. Are you related to them? I am... But not through Ms. Little; I am related through their son George W.
