| Bio and Links | Started tracing my family in 1977 from text books by Marylu Smallwood and have traced them from VA to GA.
Born and raised in GA except for tour with my dad to Puerto Rico for three years and my own time in Army for twenty years.
Family based from Telfair/Dodge Co GA home in Albany Dougherty Co GA and now live in Augusta Richmond Co GA.....
Most of the GA grave sites I've visited at one time or other with my younger brother Bill who has added some photos taken of these sites.
To find entries he, my brother, has made do search for MIRANDA WEBB HARRELL as it's one of his entries on this site...
Since an ancestor, Levi Harrell, lived in Barnwell Orangeburg District of SC prior to 1806 have done some bone hunting in that area and will do some posting of the photos from that area as time allows. This will be in addition to those sites have visted in GA between Augusta and Albany with side trips to McRae, Eastman, Athens, Macon, and other towns along the way.
If you see a memember of your family which I've added info on let me know and will try to see if have additional info for you on them or other folks not yet added.
Recently found the cemetery where my 2 Great Drand Ma and Dad rest and learned that her parents rest in unmarked graves in field neat the main cemetery. As soon as get correct name for it will post these to mail list. The cemetery is refered to in older records as Harrell Cemetery and is in Dodge Co GA. This is not to be confused with others coming up in searches under Harrell in this area as they are not the same. As have visited these also and have posted some from them already where they belond. Wayne- I am doing research on the Harrell family mainly from Suffolk, VA and other areas. The last family that I listed in Ancestry.com is James A. Harrell and wife Josephine V. Holland. I have James father and mother as Cehiza S. Harrell(12/31/1829-2/12/1899) buried in Cedar Hill Cem. and Jehessey (Harrell) (abt 1831-abt 1880). Can you assist me as to any additional Harrells from this branch? I read your remarks in Find A Grave and looks like the Harrells came from Georgia.
