Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello everyone - I live in Huron County, Ohio, have three living children, and one deceased as a baby (SIDS). I love genealogy and have been doing it for at least 25 years. Barbara Kane Kolanda

TRANSFERS: With any findagrave memorial that I maintain, if you are a closer relative than I, I will transfer. If I have no connection and you have some connection (even friendship), I will transfer, as long as you do the same, and transfer freely as well.

A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.

It has been said that every person has three deaths.

The first is the actual physical death, when the spirit leaves the body.

The second is when the body is lowered into the grave, never again to be seen in the flesh.

The third and final death comes much later, when all who knew that person have joined him in the afterlife, and the name, even the existence of that person, vanishes from knowledge.

RE: Bloomfield
You're very welcome. Although I saw that somebody else had already placed the same photo. I put mine in too so you can delete either one. This cemetery was easy to locate and looks very well-kept.

RE: Ada R. Geiger Hohler
I am related to them by marriage only. Edna P. Hohler (1923-2013) daughter of Henry Hohler & Mary Heether married my grandmother's brother James F. Herlihy. All of those memorials I added were from prayer cards that Aunt Edna had saved in her Bible. I would be glad to put the in the proper cemetery if you send an suggested edit specifying the name and cemetery for each one.

Overmyer Multiple Entries
Dear Cousin,

I don't know how multiple entries happen, but I'm sure subsequent ones aren't automatically deleted.

There have been times when I have unknowingly submitted lengthy, well researched bios, only to find out later that someone else had submitted an earlier, much shorter one. I was (and am)unwilling to delete mine or turn mine over to the other individual because mine was more complete and I had done the work.

Best wishes,

RE: Doris E Sprague
Thanks for the quick reply. I created the dupe because I found no child links for Doris on her parents' memorials. ??? Anyway, I'll delete my dupe, and happily leave Doris Edna in your good hands. I try to avoid getting sidetracked on admin of Find A Grave memorials when my own goal is completion of a genealogical book which has been years in preparation. Doris is about 6-7 generations downstream in a Brooks daughter line, so she's genetically peripheral for me.

Copy photograph
Would you be so kind as to copy your photo of her parents' stone to Doris E. (Barnes) Sprague, 160522175, please? As she is buried with them and named on their stone, I've added a memorial for her. Thanks.
