RE: HE Green
I can't understand why either. It doesn't bother me if someone uses the pictures I take for another geneaology-type site. That's why I take the pictures, so others can see them :)

HE Green
Just wanted to let you know that I've copied the photos of HE & Margaret and put them onto also. It's wonderful to be able to have a photo. Thank you again.

RE: John Scott Green
Well thank you for everything. I can see the names on the stone and that's the best it can be. Perhaps next year I'll see if I can get out to that area again and will trim the bush LOL. Living in Indiana I don't get home very often. I just claimed another photo about five miles away in an old cemetery. I may do all the stones in it, too.

RE: John Scott Green
Just got back to the states from vacation and saw you had taken pix of Henry Edward Green's headstone. Thank you so much. I've now been able to make a memorial page for his wife Margaret C. O'Neil, put the pix you took on that page, and given you credit for the pix. Thank you. I can't wait to see John Scott Green's pix when you have time to get there. All your work is truly appreciated. Emily & Dick Quinn
Hi Jeanne, Thank you SO MUCH for taking the photos of the tombstones of Emily & Dick Quinn! I have been looking for information on this family for a long time and the pictures you supplied even listed more relatives. since I am in California, I would not have been able to get these pictures myself. The memorial flowers were a plus! Thank you! Joan

John Scott Green
I called the cemetery in Hawthorne this am and neither John Scott Green or his wife, Mary, are there. I asked if there is another cemetery nearby and they said he could possibly be in Kensico Cemetery, in Valhalla...he is there in the Frengs family plot with his wife.
Kensico's address is: 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 914-949-0347. The woman in the office there said John Scott and his wife, Mary, are buried in Section 6. She said the Administration Office is open 8:30am to 4:30 pm. and that the cemetery does not have signs as to sections (odd).
I have added Mary Frengs Green to FindAGrave and just now requested a photo of her headstone also.
Her FindAGrave # is 118803548.
If this cemetery is too far, again, I totally understand.
How nice that you put flowers on your family's graves. I wish I was close enough to do the same thing for mine.
