I have always been fascinated by genealogy and family history.
I was born in Georgia, grew up in New Jersey, went to college in Virginia, and now live in Kansas.
My only son, Robbie, died in March 2000 at the age of 16, and I have listed him on Find A Grave. You can visit him at Robert Hampton Smith.
I also have a memorial site for Robbie at RobbieSmith.com.
Today, June 14th, is the Angel Day for a young man named Robert Wenstrom.

My time online has become more limited, and I will no longer be able to make daily visits to all of your sweet angels. However, I do plan to make monthly virtual cemeteries so that I can continue to flower your angels on their birthdays and angel days. I do not expect you to flower my son or family members on a daily basis, either.

Wow, what beautiful poem you wrote! I have been, basically so numb for this past year, that I just haven't had the mind to write one for my David. But little, by little my mind is coming back, it's like I'm coming back to life after being so out of touch from everything and everyone. I became so reclusive, I just didn't want to talk to anyone. But now I feel the need to talk, even if it's just to make sure my son is not forgotten.
