This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it. |
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
Please be kind to Photo Volunteers! We are out there in all kinds of weather in a variety of conditions to find your friend's/relative's graves. We are not after a Pulitzer Prize and sometimes even our best effort may produce a not-so-good photo. If any of my photos are not to your liking, please leave me a message and I will try to get a better one. I will not be offended.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of approximately 25,000 memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Thank You for your thoughts about Steve - He was a great person and a wonderful friend. I'm working on another "Racers at Rest Supplement" that will be dedicated to Steve's memory.

|Susan Lee Howell||Jesse W. Harp|
Just to correct my last message to you. I stated that I was the one who requested that Jesse's first wife Alice, be added to his site. I meant Martin B. Harp's site, not Jesse's. Gee I'm so confused ...lol!
|Susan Lee Howell||RE: Jesse Harp|
Martin B. Harp is the Father of Alice Delona Harp's children: Jesse W., Blanche, Autry A. & Altas R..They were married 10/25/1900. She was his first wife. On her memorial, it states Altas Raymond and Blanche are her children, although they are not showing up on Jesse's memorial yet. I just requested an edit to each of their memorials to add them to their Father & Mother. I'm not sure how it will then look on Jesse & Othella's site. I'm the one who asked that Jesse's first wife, Alice "Lona" be added to his memorial. Looks like she is there now and you can't tell whose kids are whose, unless you look at the Mother's memorial site. OK?
|Jennifer||William August Woiwod|
Are you related to William August Woiwod (78086870) or know his history? I'm hoping you can clear up a mystery for me. I was trying to link the children of Carl & Anna Schiska Woiwood to them on Find A Grave. I found a birth record that ties William August to them, but then on the California death record, William's mother's maiden name is given as Bohn. I think this is just a mistake on the part of whoever gave the information (there were a lot of Bohns in that part of Iowa and they did intermarry with the Woiwods) but I wanted to check with you to see if I'm making a mistake and mixing up 2 different William Woiwods.

No, I don't frankly. She is my family. I hope you understand. I would like to maintain this grave since I am related to her. She is my Aunt and I didn't know about this program until you had so generously taken the picture. Please allow me to maintain it. I hope you will, and I hope you can understand that this is family-to me. Thank you very much! Heidi Ennis
Frank F. Mayo, Roy's father and Grace's second husband, was my great great grandmother's brother.
FYI: Roy died in a fishing barge accident which was hit by a freighter on Sept 4, 1940 in Los Angeles.
