thomas stratton clark place of birth
Hi Phyllis, Thomas Stratton Clark is my great great grandfather. I am trying to find out where he came from and who his parents were. There is no birth certificate for him in Leyden. Can you tell me the source for, that info? Thanks! Judy

Pillsbury
Phyllis,
I have been doing work on the cemeteries in Andover, IL. and just finishing work on the Presbyterian and see that you have done work with the Pillsbury's.
I have added missing names and have added all headstone pictures to the appropriate memorials found for Presbyterian cemetery.
I would appreciate it when you have some spare time, if you could look over those memorials and make sure that all is correct (especially Francis). If you would like them transferred to your care, I will gladly transfer them.
I have contacted the member that has a duplicate memorial for Mary to see if he would delete his (yours was on first) but no response from him yet.
Thanks for your time and have a good day.

The duplicate is not linked to any cemetery. I tried to send an update to the owner but was given a message that it could not be sent. You may want to leave the Graceland memorial intact until that one can be transferred there.

I am transferring the Karnes memorial to you. You can combine and delete as you see fit. I will place my photo on the second (first) memorial.

Thomas Clark
Hi Phyllis,

I am a descendant of Thomas Stratton Clark, and my goal is to trace him back, and to find his parents. Can you tell me your source for his birthplace of Leyden, Franklin, Mass?

Thank you,
Judy

RE: Obituary
Hi, because of copyright laws, I prefer not to pass along the obit, but I'll gladly type up the facts from the obit and submit them through the "edit" process, hopefully a bit later today. Thanks very much, Phyllis.

RE: Death date
Hello, Phyllis, if you mean Frederick Wilhelm "Fritz" Gottlob, I have his obituary in the Alton Telegraph dated Thursday, Dec 12, 1889. In the obituary it says he passed away on Tuesday, which would be Dec 10, 1889 (which would match the stone death year). Thanks very much!

Hi Phyllis. I don't make transfers outside of required guidelines, but am always happy to make edits. Please use the Edit tab and the appropriate choices there to send them along. The obit itself won't be added since it falls under copyright, but if you would like to write up an actually bio, I would be happy to post it. Thanks!
