I'm a feral cat rescuer, an animal lover and a keen reader from Louisiana. I have a deep patriotic love for America and a fond addiction to coffee and dark chocolate. My nickname is Suse; sniksnak is a name coined for my cats' treats (snicksnack was too long for my first internet provider's character fields, so I removed the silent Cs; hence, sniksnak).
My beloved late husband and soul mate (Craig Paul Bachman) and I are owned by numerous cats and dogs who entered our lives, either by our rescue or our personal adoption through the non-profit cat sanctuary we owned, Pawprints and Purrs, Inc.
Since his loss, I dissolved our organization but still have at our home twenty-three cats and four dogs who are not adoptable due to various ailments (diabetes, IBD, hyperthyroidism, etc.), or as in the case of the majority of the cats, are unsociable due to being trapped as adult ferals.
Craig long marveled at my love for cemeteries - the older, the better. A taphophile I am - taphophilia is a passion for and enjoyment of cemeteries - I love walking through them delighting in the solitude and peacefulness as I read markers and headstones.
My heart holds a very special spot for veterans, members of law enforcement, children, and animals. Support our troops, back the badge, and report child and animal neglect and abuse.
I believe every memorial should have a virtual flower. When I see one without, I add one. That person was once loved and cherished by someone, somewhere.
I visit every person who visits my memorials as I have time. I deeply appreciate each and every visit.

 | Grandma Hi Suse, Thank you for visiting my grandma for her birthday. We appreciate it so much.
We are still keeping you in prayer.
Hugs, MissieAdded by melissa on May 21, 2013 7:35 AM | | | sr/ks
 | thank you Thank you for your two visits to Smokey, your kind words on the first, and the perfect token on the second. "Little charmer" indeed! FYI- we have 4 kitties ourselves, and all began as ferals. One was an urban feral from when a friend died, and we are having trouble getting her to play nice with the others, so I'm open to any brainstorms on your part. I do not mean to snoop, but could not help but over-read (kind of like overhearing) the message before mine, and I will say no more other than that I hope very much you are doing and feeling reasonably ok. Besides the fact you want to be for your own sake, there's a lot of furry ones counting on you. Please take good care, in my prayers.Added by sr/ks on May 21, 2013 12:55 AM | | | Rosie♥Mooch
 | RE: Hi Hi Suse, hope you heard from your doctor today but I'm sure you're correct about him now waiting until August to see how you do.
Sadly that's an insurance company for you. They don't see you as a person, just a number and they want to keep the numbers of dollars they have to pay out as low as possible :-(

 | Thank You Hi Suse! Thank you for visiting my new memorials! I have been spending many hours awake and comatose :) searching everything and making sure it is correct. I spent the last two days getting further info on other family members and just created a memorial for Robert Holmes Jones when I saw you had visited the other newly added memorials. Had to as a distant cousin added his daughter to the woman's grandfather as a daughter! LOL! I left her a message and hope she corrects it soon. I also left a note on William Hon Powells memorial that she was his granddaughter. Then I started searching for Robert her father. He is not thought to have a headstone which made the search difficult. Finally got him done tho! I have to get off here as I'm fighting severe headaches still from the flu. Mom has the virus now. Poor little thing. I'm going to check in on her and get her some water to drink. She's in bed. You keep trying to get the insurance to cover what you need done. Hope your mother is doing much better and that you are all enjoying some beautiful weather. Hugs M🌹 | | |
